If we meet on the 17th I'll actually be able to make it!

Most of my costuming stuff is already shipped off to Indy, but my tools and such are still here. I'd be glad to help anyone with their saber.

Q, ship it through UPS ground via school. It only cost me like $18 to ship my armor bin and it weighed like 45lbs. Should be there tuesday, I shipped on Wednesday.

Thanks, but I just strapped everything into my blue tub. I'll take it down tomorrow and see how it goes. Shouldn't weigh more than 35lbs.

Hey Karma, what did you ship yours in? Mine weighed 35lb and cost $25. I guess they add $5 if it has handles. I figured that would be making their lives easier...

I shipped mine in my Rubbermaid tub (the kind that has wheels). I zip-tied the lid down.

Hmmmm, maybe because you're an employee. My reciept says $19.18 but hand written is was 25.18. Ah well, still better than the $60 I was expecting :p

PErhaps? Dunno. I know there's some kind of fuel surcharge or a service fee added in (it's a UPS thing, not an ERAU thing) so maybe that explains the difference.
