Damn, PG. Glad you're alright, hope it doesn't happen again.

So, working a total of 16 hours out of a 24-hour period (2 8-hour shifts separated by 8 hours) fills me with something other than that "Christmas Spirit".

Good thing you're alright now, PG. Don't let it happen again! We need someone to give points!

And since I'm heading out for Christmas, I figured that I'd leave this here:

So, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is currently 4.99 on Steam. Everyone who doesn't currently own the game should buy it, because it's crazy awesome. It will be the best 5 dollars that you have ever spent.

I've been considering getting steam for some time now. Saw a pre-paid card available at Best Buy the other day (I have an issue with putting personal information on the internet if avoidable). I've also heard that TESIII is the best of the series. I just may have to look into delving in, finally. It doesn't hurt that they have the entire Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series available as well.

Oh yes, the Dark Forces collection is awesome as well. But I can't recommend Morrowind enough. GrandAdmiralJello can back me up on this- it's easily the best of the series, and its my favorite game, beating out KotOR II, Majora's Mask, Fallout: New Vegas, and Assassin's Creed II. It's in Jello's holy trinity of video games as well.

I got myself the best hat ever yesterday:

And as a Christmas Eve bonus, my copy of Scoundrels arrived today. Wheee. Probably can't get to it for a couple of days, but still! I want to try and read it slowly though I may have to gobble it all up instead.

Edit: suppose I won't be posting in here again until after the holiday, so: merry Christmas, for those of you celebrating this holiday instead of Saturnalia.

GrandAdmiralJello unfortunately I haven't celebrated Saturnalia since high school. Our Latin club always held the best sacrifices, I mean, parties. :p

    Merry Christmas all!

Todd -- oh, I've never actually celebrated one. It's not exactly my type of celebration, as you might imagine.

I haven't played Morrowind in years. All I remember was that I loved loved loved the music (even at that age, quality of music was the absolute first thing I noticed), but couldn't get into the game itself, though I only played a few hours. My attention span was absolute crap then when it came to anything non-musical, though, so who knows. Also, I distinctly remember getting my ass handed to me by the town guards, so that may have spoiled things.

Of course, I'm not the biggest Elder Scrolls fan the world's ever seen. The lack of narrative makes it harder for me to get into it. That said, I've put over 60 hours into Skyrim (I suspect that number is downright puny compared to some of you), so I do enjoy it. I'll have to pick it up.

I tried to play it once but the lousy books on the shelves didn't link.

One does not simply think that sir Christopher Lee has already done it all.

I'm too young and inexperienced for that joke, but after a quick Pedia run I found this passage:
Can I just hug you all?
