...the hell are you doing in EUC? We invited you to IRC
S'one of the reasons I actually swapped to using the Star Wars miniatures as proxies full time.
I have a full Tau army and a full Eldar army, and only a third of the Eldar stuff is painted. Because i bought them that way. I just can't make myself sit down and paint hundreds of miniatures, not to the standard i'd be happy with, and thus they sat. The Star Wars minis are (generally) nice, tough, and pre-painted. They also tend to be a fraction of the cost.
Doesn't help with my Vampire Counts though. Oh God, the size of that all-white army.
Although I like aspects of TOR, the trailers are definitely the best part of the game, so I'm glad the stagnation of new players at least resulted in one.
I think the fact that my first reaction to that acronym is "if I recall correctly" means I'm probably the wrong man for the job
We'll have to try again later
In other news, there's a silver oak and a three star at the bagel place sitting near me. Trippy.
Misa ab iPhono meo est.
#eu is quite fun, although I've been too busy establishing a Pax Punica this week to log on.
y'know I think Scipio Aemilianus did a good job in establishing a Punic peace...
Is that Latin for "working on blog articles"?
Yes it is.
And this place is reminding me of the university. I keep getting reading assignments (yes I'll get to NJO one day) and now there's apparently a cool thing that I should join which has all the cool guys.
Next Friday we'll have the freshman orienteering competition (yes, orienteering means drinking), where every team masquerades as people from a historical era. I have no idea what our team's era will be, but I have my beard and wig ready. They fit every era. I used them in the High School ending party when I cosplayed as our physics teacher. That was fun.
Congrats to Ulicus for his new guppy!
...the lady kinda has a point.
...I meant to comment "She make a compelling case."
I have been forgetful lately.
Quiet Point Given , I don't need to air my personal nonsense here.
Man, this is one of those days where I'm super glad I don't get headaches, though. My stomach feels hideously abused. Hideously.
Sounds like you're airing personal nonsense, Ulicus. We expect all your interactions from now on to be formal, professional, and devoid of any humor or personality whatsoever.
Basically pretend this is a Senate thread.
This seems like the kind of thing I should have heard about from you people.
Perhaps you would have, if it were on a better site.
Appropriately enough, I just finished narrating the history of the Second Punic War from Saguntum to Zama on AIM....
what? I was bored!
edit: Suppose I'll watch it though. I always wonder what pop history has to say about things.
Can I just say how much I love Carthage's naval fortress?
I couldn't pull that off, I barely know about the high points like Cannae and Zama.
Is he giving the rebels the finger?
I believe Ulicus once referred to that particular gesture as the "Starbird"....
I thought so at first...but looking again, it looks like he is going finger guns.
Which makes him the coolest stormtrooper ever
