    It amuses me too and I've lived here all my life. But to be fair, we don't have very many plows.

    What's not amusing is the whining from locals about the snow, how it's "cold" and how harsh the winter is.

    What you're experiencing is called "February." Shut up. I am loving the multiple inches in my back yard right now.

    I will scream like Willie Scott when the earth shakes though. After I show you hurricane wusses how to do a drunk dance in your driveway in the middle of a category 3.

    Well, a snow storm is always better than a storm of... SWORDS!

    And now that we are talking about the subject, here's my thoughts of the third season's finale of Game of Thrones.

    Ouch, I think I heard the topic shifting a gear in mid-run. But now that my fear of spoilers has slightly lessened (half of the Internet suddenly hasn't seen more episodes than me) what about someone giving their opinions of the show? I know I'm rolling with it and laughing at random details when I should be fretting about how the show handles certain characters or changes plots or whatever.

    A pair of owls have set up shop across the street from my house with the goal of feasting on the horde of rabbits that made their home here during summer/fall. My yard looks like something out of Watership Down, there are tufts of fur everywhere.

    I don't know what's wrong with you people. Why would you marathon HoC the day you get it? Then you'll have to wait another year for more. Watch one at a time like a civilized person. :p

    Unless it's a group marathon, that's different.

    You seem to be under the impression that "marathoning" means "putting 13 TVs in a pile and watching every episode simultaneously like Ozymandias".

    There will never be a more perfect Lit/Watchmen reference made on these forums.

    Go read the GN (the movie changed the squid so it doesn't work with the reference- though the film is still neat), come back here, reread this page of this thread, and as you form something approximating a human smile, you can think to yourself "That's a clever and mildly amusing comment.".

    The subsequent feeling you experience will be that of all being right in the world.
