    Thanks. Actually on the plane now. It still slightly blows my mind that I can actually say that. When traveling during my early years on these boards, I had to wave bye like a day before. No phone internets, no wifi, and most foreigners had never heard of computers. How things have changed.

    Can't wait for the hover boards next year.

    I have a friend who is a flight attendant who is always checking in from cool international spots. Bastille Day at the Eiffel Tower and such. I asked her if she paid for international cell service and she said no, she just uses the Wi-Fi.

    My last international trip was ten years ago and even that recently, I was using Internet cafés and phone booths. Trips these days involve Facebook check-ins and about 37422 iPhone pictures.

    I want my flying car though. It's not 2015 until I can pour beer into my Prius' gas tank, toss the can in, then fold up the wheels and rise to 10,000 feet.

    Having seen more than enough terrestrial motor vehicle accidents, there's no way I'd trust the average idiot with anything that can leave the ground. And even a minor fender bender becomes a lot more fun when you add in terminal velocity to the mix.

    On the bright side if everyone's flying, then people like me who are too scared of heights to do anything remotely off the ground will be lucky enough to have completely open roads. :p

    24 hrs later, I'm finally arrived. I'd check in from the Palace of Supreme Harmony but I doubt that there's wifi there.

    Thankfully my kindle and 3DS kept me occupied on the long flights, since my phone had the battery power of a guppy.
