S'one of the reasons I actually swapped to using the Star Wars miniatures as proxies full time.

I have a full Tau army and a full Eldar army, and only a third of the Eldar stuff is painted. Because i bought them that way. I just can't make myself sit down and paint hundreds of miniatures, not to the standard i'd be happy with, and thus they sat. The Star Wars minis are (generally) nice, tough, and pre-painted. They also tend to be a fraction of the cost.

Doesn't help with my Vampire Counts though. Oh God, the size of that all-white army.

Although I like aspects of TOR, the trailers are definitely the best part of the game, so I'm glad the stagnation of new players at least resulted in one.

I think the fact that my first reaction to that acronym is "if I recall correctly" means I'm probably the wrong man for the job

And this place is reminding me of the university. I keep getting reading assignments (yes I'll get to NJO one day) and now there's apparently a cool thing that I should join which has all the cool guys.

Next Friday we'll have the freshman orienteering competition (yes, orienteering means drinking), where every team masquerades as people from a historical era. I have no idea what our team's era will be, but I have my beard and wig ready. They fit every era. I used them in the High School ending party when I cosplayed as our physics teacher. That was fun.

I couldn't pull that off, I barely know about the high points like Cannae and Zama.

I thought so at first...but looking again, it looks like he is going finger guns.
