Now make them fight each other and tell us which side won.

Yes, you have to use fireworks.

And re:GOT, I agree that it has a lot of kid and young teenager characters for kids to relate with (fine, I relate most with Hot Pie:p). What if I just showed Daenerys parts from the first season? That's an inspirational story.

And this is why I don't take your Disney opinions seriously--I assume it's incredibly elaborate irony.

In related news, can I borrow some money?

I haven't seen Aladdin since I was 7 or so, but I remember disliking it pretty intensely. I could be a very grouchy child. Of course, I also hated Beauty and the Beast, so I can't really put myself firmly on either side here.

    You Trioculus.

I remember being scared of Beauty and the Beast when I was a kid. And many films I put off for years because they were too sad. The Fox and the Hound is one I own but have never watched all the way through in one sitting.

My favorite (traditional) Disney film will always be Jungle Book. It was the first movie I ever remember watching when I was young, I was probably two or even younger when we got the first ever VHS release (a tape I believe we still have somewhere). Differences from the book be hanged, I love it from beginning to end. And unlike Pinocchio, it didn't traumatize me or give me a fear of whales.

I have soft spots for Aladdin, Robin Hood, and The Great Mouse Detective as well. Most of the other films, both from the Renaissance era and before, I'm not a huge fan of, though. Lion King and Little Mermaid included. I'm indifferent to Beauty and the Beast, as I've only seen it once in its entirety. I was told all through growing up that I was basically the male version of Belle, so I purposely avoided it for years. And a lot of the newer films, like Tangled, I've not ever seen. I did love Wreck-It Ralph, though.

Makes me think of the joke:
"The War on Christmas is a great success! We now have limited Christmas to occupying a mere two and a half months of the year!"

Finished Journey's End for Doctor Who. Wow. Loved it minus the fate of two characters.
