PT Aquali would have prevented the Empire

In Episode 2, when the senate votes Palpatine emergency powers due to the separatist threat, every senator we see is clapping....except the Aquali! The Aqualish representatives are angrily waving their fists in stark protest.

They didn't like Palpatine...too bad you didn't like him either, eh senate?

Pondo Baba's people could have prevented the Empire!!!!

Wookieepedia says they're not Separatists, they are loyalists.


If I'm being honest, I've never known how to interpret this behavior, I can actually see it as some weird alien gesture of approval.

I don't think Wookieepedia says whether this Senator, Gorothin Vagger, approved of the military creation act or the emergency powers.
