Today, we will discuss the short-lived Star Wars Tie Fighter.

A short thread from August of '02, SWTF has several interesting points of analysis. Firstly, it has several of our classic regulars whom we no longer see much of these days. Secondly, it is about a damn good game. It even has a post from a username which is a callback to the game! Hahaha, oh so classic.

On the unfortunate side, the self proclaimed love slave of Leia (Cambo Creno,) thinks he needs codes for the most glorious of glorious games. Not only does he need cheats for it, he finds it inconceivable that a game could be designed without any.

This is countered by
1) His taste in choosing TIE Fighter to play.
2) His thanking of SEA.

Unfortunately, Cambo Creno was not long for the boards. Perhaps if he had continued to post past 11/02, we could have learned more from him. Instead, we are only left with the enigmatic words in his profile. Truly this was a deep poster, one full of thought and ponderousness.

In conclusion, I give "SWTF" about a B.

So, today you get Mos Espa, Home Of The Greatest Hunter The Galaxy Has Ever Known. The great Debo, one of the gods of the JC, graced the Games Forum with his presence. This six year old relic is truly a gem of lost classiness. The original post of the thread largely speaks for itself (i.e. any commentary I'd attempt to throw out would suck in comparison to its awesomeness), and the banter afterward had several amusing bits.
