    Lol, great thread!

Well, according the the CN site, the black gunship (Command Gunship), is actually an ARC Gunship, used to deploy ARC Troopers.

Originally, I wasn't going to bother with the Command Gunship, but after this news, I think I will, and fill it with ARC's :D

Am I the only one who isn't head over heels in love with the ARC fig?

I mean, he looks great, don't get me wrong...but he's not very well articulated. For an army builder it's hard to make a number of them look unique without going into customs. I really wish he could actually hold his gun in both hands in some sort of reasonable pose, if nothing else.

Of course, that said I do enjoy having five...and hope to find a red one to bring my team up to six.

I'll admit, the ARC Trooper fig aint the best, but I do like the character and the design, and that makes me like the figure more :D

I have a couple of the regular ARC troopers but I have never seen the red one. The regular one is a nice figure though. And I do like the ARC story in the Clone Wars I

Master Darth - deepest sympathies - hope you find it soon.
How about a poll to see who's got the most?I've got 4 -expecting a 5th thru the post, but there's a postal strike here in London.:(
Also, how about keeping this thread alive for people to share info on where to find the red ARC?

Of the first wave of Clone Wars figures, I must admit that the ARC Trooper is the best. Originally I bought the value pack with ARC Trooper and white Clone at K*B Toys, but I didn't open it. Then yesterday, I found the red ARC Trooper at Wal*Mart and I became more fascinated with the figure. Later in the day, I went to K*B Toys and found that they had recieved MORE value packs. :D So I got another ARC Trooper value pack and opened 'em up. :D

So yeah, I'm starting to like the ARCs even more than I used to. Hopefully I'll soon find another red ARC to open. :)

I just read this in sirstevesguide.com:

We have learned that the Red ARC Trooper is a running change so the BLUE one will become the variation.

That really sucks, it should be a variation, not a running change :(

I agree with you guys. Red should be the variation.

I wish the ARCs had more leg articulation, like in the knees or ankles. [face_plain]

BTW, how do you guys pronounce ARC?? Do you say "A-R-C"? Or do you say "Ark"? I say that latter. :D

I used to say A R C, but since the guy in the cartoons says "Arc Troopers, deploy!", I've started saying the work "arc" as in "Noah".

Hmm, good question, actually, and it made me think that I pronounce Star Wars acronyms weirdly...

I say AT-AT like, "Aye Tee - Aye Tee"
But I have always said ARC like, "Ark"

    Weird. :p

That's how I've always said AT-AT, sounding out the letters. If it was pronounced "At-At", then how would you pronounce AT-ST?? How about AT-TE? So I like to say the letters when it comes to those. ;)

I was too embarrased to ask! I pronounce it A-R-C.

Do you guys pronounce it Durg or Dur-j ? I like Dur-j just because like 99% of SW names are multiple sylables and I like it.

When it comes to all things SW, I've learned that everyone is pretty much going to pronunce things whichever way they prefer... just like GL likes to say "Nay-boo" and "Dough-koo", even if the characters themselves say "Nah-boo" and "Doo-koo". :p

    News Flash:

I just saw the CW preview on Sensor Room on Toonami just now. Not only did I see great shots of the ARC's, but Genndy Tartakovsky reveals there are 12 ARC's. I'm not sure if that includes the red one or not.
