But in the pic Darkphoenyx posted, the red ARC's skirt is black... ?

 

I don't think it's black, I think it's a very dark blue (darker than normal ARC)

I've not seen darc's picture yet, so I'll go look at that.

In that case, I have seen it, and to me it looks more dark blue than black. Can anyone who has the fig confirm whether it is blue or black?

I hope it's black.

EDIT: Well, from the loose shot's you can tell it's black, but from this shot, it looks blue:

Man, now I've got AC/DC stuck in my head.

 

I can tell you that the red ARC Commander's waistcoat is identical[/] to that of the gray ARC's. I have both of them, so I know.

 

Actually from what I've seen (at least one picture of a clearly different dark gray waistcoat) and am now reading (two reports of blue/gray waistcoats) it sounds like there's two versions of the Red ARC. Not surprising, given that there were errors on the original version as well.

Which would make a total of four variations. *shakes head* This is getting nuts.

Don't me so insistent that the version you have is the only version out there PM.

There's too many variations. Don't you feel sorry for those completists who have to have every figure and every variation of each figure? Me neither. Again, I don't think these are actual "errors" on Hasbro's part. I think they do it on purpose so that we'll buy everything that they supposedly screw up on.

I know, I have one of these guys in my fanforce, and man, like when all the clonetrooper 3-packs were announced with all the different variations, he went like nuts! lol.

I love him to death , but man, sometimes I pity how he is so compelled to buy every single darned figure.

 

I could go nuts keeping track of every single variation. Which is why I don't...

 

Well I finally got my red Arc in the post today, bought from a US-based seller on eBay (I'm in the UK). Took one week to get here - way to go!
Amyway, he came with a grey skirt, and only one gun as in the grey Clone - bit of a disappointment since in the cartoons he has 2 pistols, I think he'd look better with a black skirt.
Still, never mind, he still looks great leading my 4 grey clones into battle now I've given him the Clone pilot's pistol in his right hand and the normal rifle in his left.

Mon, there is a variation with the black skirt (still one blaster though), and that looks far better.

 

Really? Cuz all the ones I've seen (and the 3 red ARCs that I have) all have that blueish-gray skirt from the original ARC.

I got my Red ARC in the mail today from ebay.What an awsome figure! I like it better then the grayish-blue ARC. Also mine has the black waistcoat on it.(Though it looks more like a really dark grey in the light)

 

Yeah, I like the black version much better as well.

 

I hope they stop making the Red ARC with blue skirt, it just doesn't look right.

A green ARC? This is getting ridiculous, these aren't even in the cartooons/comics!!!

I'm still on the lookout for a Red ARC myself. Plenty of Gray/Blue available but no Red.
