I'm up for either. Whatever's is easiest for the masses.
thanks for the info Bail!
I'll need directions to Crest. The Mills will be difficult unless we reserve a lane (or lanes) that night.
i didnt know that the mills had a bowling alley, i say we shoot for that instead then
Everyone else just worry about where sounds better, I'll worry about the planning. It's my job.
Yeah, I don't know if the bowling alley is open yet, but I vote for that. Don't know when I will be able to go though, I'll get back to you on that.
Well I won't be able to make a Febuary 20 or 21 for reasons that I will tell everyone after the fact.
Does Crest Bowl on the 28th sound good? Any particular time? We'll have to work around the leagues.
the 28th works for me. but then again you all know the restrictions on me going.
Official decision- the 28th at Crest Bowl. Everyone make your plans now, it's three weeks away.
Any time suggestions? We can arrange for a Metrolink pick up as well.
I should be able to make that. Anybody got the directions? Do they have a bar at the Crest Bowl?
Late afternoon or evening would be best for me, in case I have to go into work for any appointments.
I will locate the directions shortly, too lazy currently. And they are a bowling alley so they do have a bar.
yeah most diffantly a Metro pick up would be nice.
We still need a time. I am perfectly willing to hit the Metro to pick anyone up as well (as long as everyone arrives within 30 minutes of one another).
Also head count time!!
Dajuan & Randy
I, more than likely, will make it. I might have room for one or two to ride with me. In case any of the vehicularly challenged people need a ride over.
(folks from the east side that is)
I completely forgot about this fundraising dinner my wife has (work related)on the same day. It wasn't supposed to be the 28th, but was rescheduled. She told me about it, but my memory is about as short as my * ,oh well.
Depending on what time the bowling goes down, I might still be able to meet up for an ice cold beverage and put some faces with the names, but I won't know until that afternoon.
If it's not to be, I look forward to meeting as many as possible in March.
I wasn't thinking on starting the "festivities" until about 7pm any way.
Here is the address and phone number to Crest Bowl:
650 N New Florissant Rd; Florissant, MO 63031
It's right across from Fritz's and near Old Town Donuts. Near 270 and Washington-Elizabeth as well. My directions will probably land you in Illinois, so a map quest is a better bet. You can always give me a call on the cell if you get lost though. (I'll hand the phone to Randy .)
Well I'll get the deets set up for the main site.
EDIT: Hit the wrond stupid button.
Dajuan, it's my mom's directions that land people in Illinois. Remember?
That's right.... lol I'd forgotten about that. At least you made it, with my directions you might not. I forget my own neighborhood from time to time.
LOL! I forget directions too alot. You're not the only one!
I'm coming so count on that Metro link pick up thingy mabob!
Not a problem. We'll need to set up times soon, probably arrive at the North Hanely at 6-6:15.
Ok, I am really not working saturdays anymore, so I should be ok from work on that day, but what time are we talking? I am ok for most of the day, but if its still cold enough I will plan on making my way out to hidden valley probably by 10 p.m.
ok....I did some checking for me and the whole prospect of me getting home....getting there no prob...getting home....
for me to get home, I would have to be back at the metro link at 9pm so that I can catch a 10:15 bus at 5th and Missouri and be back at the Glen Carbon Wal-Mart by 11 something then well walking the last two miles...which I don't think iwanna do. so unless one of y'all will be uber nice to me and drive me home I am once again going to have to back out......sowwy.
I'm thinking of starting around 6 or 7. Robin, we have a couple others from your side of the river, someone might be willing to drive you. Where abouts are you?
Edwardsville, basicly right across the street from SIUE campus
GAAA! @#$ #%#% #%#% That stupid #@%@ #%%% @#$%!!! I haven't worked a saturday since about the first saturday of January, I got scheduled for the 28. I now hate my manager. Well, I am only working till 5, so I guess that means I can make it, I'll just probably be late.
