    OK, so:

    gezvader: says something without thinking
Me: No, bad idea. (Should be self-evident that the comedy of the show is reliant a fair bit on the physical, which translates terribly to the comic medium
    gezvader: <doubles down>

It's like you've got a natural 20 in blackjack, and instead of splitting you double down. Well played, I guess?

It goes beyond physical. The line delivery, "body language" of the characters, the voice acting itself. Little details like that. Though it's conceivable you could read a comic and hear each voice in your head, it still wouldn't be the same. You'd have to fill in the blanks in regards to the action between panels unless the artist were to use large enough panels or even splash pages to convey an absurdly humorous situation that can better be conveyed in less than a second of screen time. And still it'd lack that special charm.

No, I concur, an Archer comic is a terrible idea. That gang is just fine where it is. But I swear, I wouldn't be able to stomach another season like #5. Such a tedious chore to get through that one.

the 'voice acting' is the obvious missing ingredient , but the voices are so familiar now I'd just hear them as I read , like with a Simpsons comic .

plenty of shows / movies have been turned into comics , can't see why Archer would be such a problem , just depends how well its done .

Yeesh. "Creepy" doesn't even begin to describe that. At least that thing has clothes; she could've been fashioned like Cortana to amp the perv factor.

"I've just never met a bald fortune cookie before."

"Beer and wine? What am I, twelve?"

A lot of great lines in the premiere. I was tired of the genre seasons.

Yah glad they went back to normal.

Didn't really like the last 3 seasons. Like at all.

I watched it religiously until Archer Vice. Then I completely lost interest.
