If there's one class I really appreciate, it's steel class. Learning how to erect structures that can take on great loads with such little material is amazing.
However, there's still a place in many professor's hearts for using wood, as some are very attached to it.

All in all, a great learning experience so far.

A lot people like using light shafts, but I think that's innapropriate for my design.

[YodaJeff]If you don't wish to discuss the architectural eduactaion process, you don't have to post in the thread. [/YodaJeff]

SLR: Jeff may be confused at what you said.
He may not know where to look at all. That sort of thing happens to someone with limited comprehension.

Yes, and part of "everything" includes "a place for super-obvious innuendo threads", and "everyone" includes "you".

So it doesn't include you as well?

I don't really care for this thread, but I don't have to like every thread.
There are plenty of JC threads that I don't think are worth the amount of space they take up on the page.

A note should be made that whenever Jeff says "you" he means "Seldon."

"He may not know where to look at all. That sort of thing happens to someone with limited comprehension."

There's some irony, as Seldon is the one who repeatedly illustrates to everyone that he

    1. Can't spell worth a damn
    2. Has no clue about the proper usage of the words "your" and "you're"
    3. Can't be bothered to fact-check even the most trivial and basic of assertions

Indeed, Seldon makes it quite clear time and time again that he is a little boy in a world full of adults. His inability to comprehend issues and reality, and even apply basic standards of language to his own writings is sad, pathetic, hilarious, and off-putting all at the same time.

No, Seldon. You are clearly the one in this forum with a limited capacity for comprehension. It isn't any of the rest of us. It is you. Your childish squealing and unparalleled doofusness are not refreshing or cute. They are shameful and worthy of scorn.

    A bit of an assertion.
Even if every word has a grammatical error, that is not to say that I don't understand reality.

    When did I mis-spell damn?
    Is there evidence of this?
Perhaps I was discusssing a beaver's home and you figured I was talking about the "vulgar" term.

Dam-Something which blocks water or a structure that the beaver makes.
Damn-As in damn you all to hell.

Seldon, that last post calls into question your ability to read at all.

And no, SLR, I don't. Feel free to defend his clear ignorance on any number of issues of you want, but I'm not going to put on a pretty face and pretend that he isn't utterly clueless while he persists in making the same assertions of me and the principles in which I believe. No, he asks time and time again for all that he gets, and until he wises up and accepts that he is as clueless as it is obvious he is, I'll keep reminding him.

"A note should be made that whenever Jeff says "you" he means "Seldon.""

If I meant "Seldon", I would have said "Seldon". Unlike you (Seldon), I have enough of a grasp of the English language to be able to type out a coherent sentence that gets my point across.

    I don't want slack.
The baseless accusations are just proving Rhett's inablity to discuss the topics at hand and that he has serious problems.

Which baseless assertions have I made? You keep making that claim, but you fail to ever identify any of my so-called "baseless assertions." The fact is that you repeatedly butcher the English language to the point that your posts are often nearly unrecognizable as English, all the while berating and demeaning others for what you say is their own lack of comprehension. The irony finally became too much for me to handle.

I can discuss whatever topic you would like, but it makes it much easier to do so when you present your own claims in something at least resembling fact and reason, and in a language that exists on this planet.
