it was suggested to use smaller projectiles and the GoDV series are really small books and i mean an accually set of encyclopedias... printed in book form... not on the internet. *sigh* children these days...

They can't be canon! If any of you aren't familiar with this comic strip, it's Threepio and Artoo on Tatooine. It's obviously Tatooine, because some of the cantina aliens are in the background, and all the primitive architecture looks the same as Mos Eisley. Plus, there's a landspeeder in the background that looks like Luke's old model. Anyway, Threepio tells Artoo that there certainly are many strange creatures in the galaxy. A creature comes stumbling towards them, but it turns out to be Luke, underneath a pile of spare parts. He tells the 'droids to help him load the parts into his speeder.
Now, of course we all know that the very night Luke brought Artoo and Threepio home, Artoo promptly escaped. This lead to Luke's encounter with Obi-Wan, the death of Owen & Beru, and Luke's subsequent selling of his 'speeder. So the 'droids weren't on Tatooine long enough to help Luke with menial tasks.
Geez oh man! The only reason I even felt the need to post this, is because Darth Sikle is my buddy, and he keeps trying to get my goat by saying they are canon. They were made in frickin' 1996, before the infinites label came out. Arggh! Darn you, Darth Sikle!! Darn you to heck for making me respond to your nonsens!!
Please back me up on this one, guys!!
