stop trolling my thread. thanks.
Anyway back on topic. Whats your fav H&O song? Mine is one of the 2 i posted. Although there are other great ones.
I've always been partial to "She's Gone"
Video sucks but the song is great.
i hair in the video is superb though
If you replaced Mariah Carey with The Beatles, then I'd say 'me'.
Hall and Oates' performance at Live Aid with The ex-Temptations guys (Ruffin & Kendricks) was one of the absolute highlights of the Philly show.
ohhhh i didnt see that. I was mainly watching London, only saw a few of the Philly ones.
Ghost writers? Like the abundance of ghost writers that helped H&O out.
Just having a bit of fun.
Which is why I chose Spinal Tap over the Rutles!
If you push me too far,I just might...
Actually I haven't seen Spinal Tap yet, so I can't really compare. I definitely plan to, though, I've heard many times that it's a classic.
"I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)"
"Out of Touch"
"Las Vegas Turnaround"
"Everytime You Go Away"
No they are not.
Not even close...but I"m guessing this is a satirical thread
Brett Hull and Adam Oates were one of the best right wing/center combinations when they played for the St. Louis Blues in the early 90's.
Great duo for sure.
My favorite blue-eyed soul songs: Rich Girl, I Can't Go for That, She's Gone. She's Gone is the only one that I can remember them sharing the lead. I can't remember any songs with John Oates singing the lead.
I don't think the Kendricks & Ruffin bit is on YouTube (but it's worth buying/hiring/borriwing the DVD for). Of course both those 2 legendary singers have subsequently passed away.
My favourites in order.
"I'll Be Around"
"One on One"

Family Man rules. I don't give a **** what anyone says.
You'd never find John Lemon embracing Christmas like Hall and Oates do. (War is Over) is piddling tripe compared to the glory that is

Rejoice and be glad in it.
damn that john lemon
You have got to be kidding me.
I got to check them out live earlier this year and they were quite good.
