If you like Anderson's simple plots and characters, yes.

I actually liked the Junior Jedi Series better

Sturm was right, very very simple plots

Ugh, I didn't like JJK very much. [face_plain] And I don't mind simple plots...The story and characters just weren't all that engaging for me.

Tahiri not shutting up was funny though.

Either way JJK is a helluva lot better than YJK. YJK is just so horrible...
(2 and a half of those monsters to go and I'm done.)

Yes, except the last three YJK they are really lame, they try to focus on contemporary issues(like drug use) to teach kids how to be good. Please, just give me SW. Beware: the JJK are out of print and don't stand alone, find all of them before you start reading to avoid a headache.

There out of print but since there for small chil, ins theres not a big rush outside of hardcore SW fan's to find them. And Amazon still has them all.

Hey, I read the JA series, and I thought they were really good. Maybe they should at least be called teenager age, just because of some of the plots are pretty good.

    I've read them all 2 times, except # 16 because I thought I owned it and I didn't...lol

My friend gave me one he had lying around his house. It is the YJK Lightsabers. I like it enough. I don't know if I will go buy any of them though.

For some reason I could not get through YJK series . . . even after several tries. I don't find an aging TIE pilot to be an engaging villain.

They are good depending on your age. I read the series' when I was in the recommended age range, so I liked both series. I personally liked JJK better because it was about Anakin and Tahiri... they are THE BEST SW CHARACTERS OUT THERE!!! :p

I enjoyed the first book in the series and the 4th, I believe, called Lightsabers. Never got around to starting the second or third YJK series though.

*I* liked them. The characters are endering, and the Diversity Allience story arc is quite interesting. The JJKs are good too, but they're on a much, much smaller scale, story wise.

I haven't read JJK, but I found YJK entertaining. I kep away from them for a really long time but I finally got to reading them and they aren't bad. In fact, some of them like Lightsabers and Jedi under Siege are much better than some of the thicker novels I've come across.

I liked YJK. I haven?t read JJK, though.

And, JediLaw, if you really thought that the tie pilot was the main villain, then I think you should have continued reading. :)

They're good post-exam reads. Not overly complicated, but still kinda interesting. Just what you need when your brain isn't quite working. Be forewarned that Jacen's jokes are real groaners though.

The YJK series where the first EU books i ever read. When I read them i was about ten and i loved them. Wheather or not they're worth reading somewhat depends on your age.
