Are there any FAT jedi ?

I dont really think theres ANY fat people in SW, other than Jabba and the Rancor owner of course. Oh yeah, and Dex.

 

Owen Lars is a little chubby too, and what about that fat twi´lek ?

 

Don't forget Jek Porkins! I mean, really... "Pork" is in his name!

A few of the Jedi in the Geonosis arena looked slightly less than buff. But on the whole..not that I've noticed. Even old ben doesn't look out of shape after twenty years in the tattooine desert.

 

Food would be somewhat scarce in those parts...

Yoda sez something about the current Jedi, at the time of AOTC, that many Jedi were too sure of themselves or something...

"No need to kill myself on the stairclimber at the Jedi Gym or hop around Dagobah-style because I have skills beyond skills!"

I remember Sifu Bruce Lee said something about a physically fit Novice martial artist being able to defeat an unfit Master martial artist... just because you know HOW to fight does not exactly mean you will WIN the encounter...

 

I don't think a person can be fat and be a jedi. I think the force takes too much out of them. If you ever read the old fanticy books they state that magic takes its toll on the user... if we liken that to the force then it would make sence that a jedi can't be fat. Thats just my option. Last I checked being informed wasn't my strong point.

 

At the risk of slicing off their own stomachs when they weild their lightsabers, I think most Jedi stay pretty slim

 

By the way, what is the regular diet of a Jedi, are they vegetarian?. Speaking of FAT jedi, maybe a Hutt could be born strong with the force and be trained as a jedi, and Hutts are fat by nature, just a thought though.

 

Even the Hutt Jedi was described as big, slim, and buff, lacking the rolls of fat which were common to Hutts, and the Hutt Jedi could slither pretty fast, fast enough to outrun Leia.


Another Idea: Leia, being sorta a jedi, is the fattest person in the universe, and anyone who has seen a picture of her recently knows this. So I think that there are fat jedi.

I think, being as they are for the most part warriors (I mean they're knights for pete's sake) they should be in reasonably good condition with all the training they have to do to become jedi.
