LA, CA Are we still calling the Bubba's Reviews

We used to recommend/warn people about movies we've seen. Maybe we could bring that back.
We're all movie fans in this group, to the best of my knowledge.

How about a rating system of 5 stars. One star being, "Woe is me, I'll never get that two hours back." Five being, "OMG! What a great movie! I have to see it again. When can I buy the DVD?"

Last weekend I saw Sorcerer's Apprentice. It was pretty good and I'm surprised it got to the junkie theatre so fast. (Hey, I had a free movie pass!) The story was classic good vs evil, but well done. Acting and special effects were pretty good. My rating is 4 stars.

I also caught some on TV that I missed in the theatre, thank goodness! The first 20 minutes of Waiting were so totally without charm or humor that I didn't even bother watching the rest. One star for the first 20 minutes.

Haunted World/El Superbeasto, Rob Zombie's animated feature, was silly, but a hoot. Three and 1/2 stars.
