Are you afraid of clowns?

Although I do remember having nightmares when I was quite small about this one particular clown I glimpsed while sleeping over at some friend's house who are from Hong Kong. Don't have a clue what movie it was, but - can't exactly remember it now - it was freaky I think. Probably still is. But in general, no.

Generally no, there are a few, such as Pennywise, for whom I will make an exception.

 

In General? Just slightly creeped out by them, they never really smile.

In Movies? Evil clowns in movies are just plain creepy.

People clowns not scary at all, anything clown related however (puppets, toys, those icky robot clowns in boxes at fairs that jump up and down laughing,) creepy, bordering on scary.

Dang it, <i>yes</i>. *shudders* Your normal run-of-the-mill clown isn't going to freak me out. But if it's in any form of media, like books, television, movies (IT would be a prime example, or old episodes of "Are You Afraid of the Dark"), then YES. I can't watch, will sometimes get nightmares as an adult. I hate them...
