The last option should read, "I don't know WHAT you're talking about."
A friend of mine sent me a copy of the theme and it is nice. I listened to it a few times but was surprised to find myself humming it absentmindedly the other day. Very cool.
Can't wait to hear the whole soundtrack.
I have heard it many times , but surprisingly I keep on forgetting how it goes.
for some reason yesterday when i had a really bad headache, I couldn't seem to get it "Across the Stars" out of my head. I love the track but it was driving me crazy because of my headache. But I've been humming it again now that the headache is gone.
never heard it..sorry
No, I'm already humming track 9 and 13.
hey Bubba, your signature indicates that you are privy to knowledge of the meaning of life, the universe and everything.
I love Across the Stars, but it will always have a melancholy feel for me. My cat died a few days after I first heard the track, so I will always associate the music with that sad event. I'll probably bawl my eyes out when I hear the music in the film, like the sap I am
Yesh. I find myself humming it in class, then catch myself.
I can't believe that the song is this awesome! Okay so I can!
"hey Bubba, your signature indicates that you are privy to knowledge of the meaning of life, the universe and everything."
"I have a brain the size of a planet" lol, yeah, so said Doug Adams died
I haven;t heard it yet...
42? I know of the imfamous 37...but, 42?
no! i'm not humming it!!!
i'm whistling it...
"42? I know of the imfamous 37...but, 42?"
I shouldn't really tell you what it means, but I'm such a nice guy that I'll spill the beans:
It's the answer to the Question of Life, the Universe and Everything.
Been too busy listening to the whole soundtrack. Now I'm too busy listening to a lot of different music JW has written.
"What do you get when you multiply six by nine?"
Yes, I know it's wrong. I can't help it--I'm Golgafrinchan, not part of the Earth's original matrix.
It's not wrong. Think base 13.
i cant get the song out of my head!
I voted for the closest to "Haven't heard it yet" that I could find . . . Though I don't want to be musically Spoiler free! I just haven't gotten the soundtrack yet! *wails* I only recently got ROTJ and TPM . . .
Where can you here Across the Stars?
any music file sharing site, audiogalaxy, kazaa, etc.
lol. Douglas Adams is a great author...
Oh. "Across the Stars"...it reeks of old style and over used chord progression. There's not a bit of originality in the whole piece, so therefore, it's just like any other Williams composition.
And to think....John Williams was given a full 4 months to write AOTC! I would give ANYTHING to have that much time on a score! If I had 4 months, the stuff I could come up with would blow Williams stuff out of the water.
As I recall, Igor Stravinsky was once asked to do a film score - he replied that he would need $30,000 and a year to write it. When asked why he turned the project down he said, "How can you expect anyone to write anything that is any good in less than a year?"
