Do you go out to see movies frequently?

I haven't been much of an avid moviegoer in my life (I'm a frequent movie viewer at home, though). Recently, I started going to theaters more often, but I can still name every single movie I've seen in theaters. And in case anyone doubted that, here's the list:

    1990

    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

    1992

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II:The Secret of the Ooze

    1993

Home Alone 2:Lost in New York
    Jurassic Park
    Beethoven's 2nd

    1994

    The Lion King
    The Flintstones

    1995

    Pocahontas

    1996

    Toy Story
    Space Jam
    101 Dalmations

    1997

    Star Wars:A New Hope-Special Edition
Star Wars:The Empire Strikes Back-Special Edition
Star Wars:Return of the Jedi-Special Edition
    Jungle 2 Jungle
    The Lost World:Jurassic Park
    Hercules
    Face/Off
    Batman & Robin
    Spawn
    Speed 2:Cruise Control
    Men in Black

    1998

    Titanic
    Godzilla
    Rush Hour
    A Bug's Life

    1999

    Star Wars:Episode I-The Phantom Menace (2x)
    Toy Story 2
    Pokemon:The First Movie

    2000

    Dinosaur
    Mission: Impossible 2
    Shangai Noon
    Chicken Run
    The Patriot
    X-Men
    The Emperor's New Groove
    Unbreakable

    2001

    The Mummy Returns
    Atlantis: The Lost Empire
    Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within
    Jurassic Park III
    Planet of the Apes
    A.I.: Artificial Intelligence
    Rush Hour 2
    Monsters Inc.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

    2002

    A Beautiful Mind
Beauty and the Beast: Special Edition
    Black Hawk Down
    Gosford Park
Brotherhood of the Wolf (Le Pacte des Loups)
Amélie (Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain)
    The Royal Tenenbaums
    In the Bedroom
    The Count of Monte Cristo
    Monster's Ball
    Return to NeverLand
    Iris
    Moulin Rouge
Italian for Beginners (Italiensk for begynder)
    Kandahar (Safar e Ghandehar)

    Ice Age
    Kissing Jessica Stein
    E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: The 20th Anniversary
    We Were Soldiers
    Panic Room
    Blade II

Now, I'm not asking all of you to list all the movies you've seen in theaters (though it would be cool if you did). I'm just wondering if you guys are avid moviegoers or not. :)

I probably see more movies now that I go to uni because I can acutally get to a movie theatre easier than when I was in school.

I've been going to too many movies these two or three years. I average more than one movie per week, for me to list it is crazy.

    Hmmm...movies I've seen this year:

    Scary Movie
    Road Trip
    Frequency
    Any Given Sunday
    X-Men
    Gladiator
    American Beauty
    Magnolia
    The Green Mile
    The Patriot

...aaah, there's loads more but I can't think at the moment. I go to the cinemas a lot. Oh, and some of these movies didn't come out 'til 2000, even though they were made in '99.

During the summer I tend to go about once a week, about this time of year I go every other week. I tend to only see the films with the positive buzz as the fall tends to yield a lot of half a$$ efforts. The last one I saw in theaters was HIGHLANDER:ENDGAME, which kind of proves my last statement. The films that come out this time of year are usually successful critically, but fail to bring in big numbers initially, leading to a re-release come February if/when they get any Oscar nominations.

I'm one of those lame people that keeps the ticket stubs to every movie she sees, so I can probably name most of the movies I've seen in the theatre. Fortunately for you guys, I forgot to bring my tin of stubs with me to college, so I won't be making a list of them all.

<edit>Uh, now it looks like I'm implying Missninfan is lame...um, let's just say somehow Missninfan manages to make keeping ticket stubs cool.
