    ARGH!

This sucks, both my old F15 talon joystick and my new Saitek Digital joystick do NOT work at ALL on my PC. Whenever I got to configure them it just screws up royally. They don't work for ANY games that I have that require a joystick. The Talon's movement is okay, but none of the buttons work during joystick configure. The Saitek is the opposite, all four of the buttons are glowing like chernoble during configure and the movement imput is jumping like a rabbit on crack. I'm so confused, I've NEVER had a problem like this where a computer simply REJECTS a game device. Any advice? I'm running windows XP.

Heh, no matter how hard I try, I can't help but giggle at the title.

    lol, yea.

I have a Saitek X8-31 - and have had problems with it shaking all over the place.

New Joystick probably is the best thing to do.

Maybe Windows XP is simply unfriendly to non MS joysticks? Thus forcing you to buy a SideWinder if you wanna plug a joystick to an XP rig? The Microsoft World Domination conspiracy at its finest. [face_blush] :p

Logictechs Wingmans. The Best Money can buy. Even the cheap models now come with force feedback that can be turned on and off at will. They are extreamly conforatble. I got my first one in 1995 and i was working till April you won't go wrong with a LogicTech WINGMAN.

    Yay, I got it fixed!

Well, not exactly fixed. I got a refund and got a sidewinder, it works great now. Thanks! :D

Now... anyone know how to get the new ingame music for TIE and X-WING 95 to work? The music doesn't play, but the midi, sound and voice work fine. What should I do?

I always break my joystick when I play TIE Fighter and fly as a Tie Bomber. I always want to turn harder than the craft will go.

    My eyes are watering.

    I always break my joystick

    oh ouch.

You need Viagratron. A new Stick of Joy hardener so you don't brake it so often.

I'll second this. I actually need to pick up a USB adapter sometime soon so I can hook my WingmanAttack up to my roomie's new PC. Great joystick, especially for flight sims.
