Requesting title to be changed so I can describe my work.

Well today I went in and found out they still haven't fully processed all the information yet. Did find out I'm getting paid $8.00 per hour, and will be working for now 24-30 hours which is a good start. I'll go in Monday for training. (Unless they decide to call me tomorrow, which could happen.)

I may not do the photo thing, I may be front clerk instead. We will see.

 

A paying job and a driver's license, wow Arlon, you're well on your way to founding your own Mega Church!

I applied at every big box retailer, chain restaurant, and grocery store in a 50 mile radius and didn't even get as far as an interview/

I've since given up. The system is clearly against me.

No, you just live in the wrong area. I live in an area that the "service" industries are still struggling to find workers. I could easily get a retail job if I wanted too. Maybe not Walgreen's though, I don't think the one in town is hiring.

 

Your town only has one Walgreens? Wow.

 

Well, across the river in MN, where Walgreen's can have an actual pharmacy in it(ND has a weird rule about pharmacies) there are 3 of them. I think I heard they were building another one in my town though.
