Tucson Armor/Costume Building Party

Posted this thread because many of us need to modify our amror, or build costumes before CIV and April. We need a date, time, and place to host. My place is undergoing renovations, but if I have enough time, I could probably have it clean enough to Host but I am waaaay on the North end of town.

 

I think you left a few "aaa"s out of "way". IMHO, Catalina is beyond north end of town.

Well on the other end of the earth is my place. Huge and has a 3 car garage to work in with lots of tools and hopefully soon a nice airbrush set up. I could probably get Amber to make us a nice dinner and/or throw some steaks on the grill....

 

that might be worth the trip!

 

If Anber allow us to bring our "cr*p" into your guys' house I think that would be best, most room.

 

Why should Amber do all the cooking?
Has anybody thought of a day to do this? I'm hoping for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. If a weekday, sometime after 5pm. the only time I'm not available is March 23 - 26.

I'm sure if we promise Amber that whatever we bring with us we WILL TAKE HOME with us, that she would be more than willing to order the pizzas for us.
Weekends would work best for me, also.

 

I'll be there as long as I am not occupied by Komen events.

 

Talked to Dusty and Hal...Sunday sounded the best, it dont matter where we have it as long as we get stuff done. Make sure you have all the supplies you need so no one needs to stop and get something they forgot. (this is Inevitable)

Yeah Chris's house isnt around the corner from a WalMart, so if we forget it, we dont use it!

 

I remember that Damian had said we could do it at his house...I dont know if the offer still stands though. It makes the most sense as WALLY WORLD and the Hobbitown and ACE are within 4 mins. Whatta ya say my dear ole' Dame?? Hmmm???

Actually Lowes and Wal-Mart ae less than 10 minutes away. Ace hardware is just over the hill at Cardinal.

 

If U guys want to do it at my houe I have no problem with that.

Chris house just makes more sense though.

 

Chris' house definitely has more indoor room (garage) to play around in.

 

Like Isaid we can play here or elsewhere I dont care either way but I need advance notice to organize the garage a bit.

When you say 2.24.07, do you mean that there will be an armor building party today, or that you made the decision today? If the party is today, I can't go. My BOSS (*cough* Chris *cough*) scheduled me to work at 5, so I need to leave the meeting no later than 4:30.

 

Decision made today, armor building on the 25th. Now we have to figure a time

 

Sorry guys, I guess I misunderstood about the date. I thought it was set and we were only trying to figure out a location.

If it's too hard to do it tomorow it's OK, I guess I just got confused.
