i thought its about time we have a thread that is dedicated to the armoured troopers!
for those who just wanna talk about their armour when ever they like with out waiting around for an event.
this thread is for anyone wearing any kind of armour eg: strom trooper, clone trooper, vader, boba, jango etc...

a thread to talk about armour changes, paint colour, touch ups, replacements needed or required etc..
how we bring our own armoured character to life and what makes it so unique to us
or just plain and simple talk about the great characters they are on and what made them our number one favourite star wars character in the first place...

My TB is broken.

 

im not exactly sure what a TB is...

getting my helmet in a week or so... wont know if it will need to be fixed to be wearable or just leave it as display

 

Where are you getting it from & who manufactured it?

While I'm not exactly an armoured trooper, wearing the armour is addictive! It's lotsa fun being able to be an armoured Jedi!

I do have a crappy blaster, but don't see me needing it ... it's so uncivilised!

Am thinking of working on a lance to complete the whole Clone Wars Season 1 look. Just need a bike so I can go riding around

 

im not exactly sure who made it... it dont give much details of it...
mainly its only gonna be for display as a collectable item

 

TB is a 501st term for a Biker Scout. TK - Stormtrooper, TB - Biker Scout, TS - Snow trooper , ect.

What sort of helmet are you getting ? Replic Com ?

 

nah its just a plain old AOTC clone trooper
i was looking at republic commando... bit out of my price rang at the moment
wouldnt mind just being a clone from ROTS under commander cody... ORANGE!!

 

Long term goal would be an accurate beehive trooper from the 212th. I've seen a few attempts at that helmet, and it looks very easy for it to go horribly wrong.

My TK needs support work...

Better harness to keep the leg pieces up...all sorts of repairs

 

what are you using for the strap DLA
and whats holding them to the amour itself

 

Harness Strapping is broken

 

im sure that could be easily fixed... i got an old shoulder strap from a bag...
only thing is its rather wide... its about 1.2m maybe more or less

 

Velcro is what i use...need something better maybe those black clippy things

 

Ok, official explanations.
1 - TB is because they were first know simply as "Biker scouts". They evolved into scout troopers. TB = Trooper Biker.
2 - My armour broke whilst removing it after the photo shoot. Top left rear shoulder part of the main back piece, snapped clean through. Anyone with a TB can attest to it being a weak part in the design. Definately needs reinforcing...
