Anyone have any interest in going to the Denver County Fair this weekend? $10 for a one-day pass: http://www.denvercountyfair.org/
Here is more on the showing of A New Hope in Broomfield on the 7th: http://www.broomfieldenterprise.com/ci_18553306
Ghostbusters is playing on three Thursdays (today included) this month back on the big screen. Does anyone have any interest in going to see it in the next 2 weeks?
Next Thursday then? It seems like it only shows at 7 so we just need to pick a theatre between now and then.
Here are theaters for it next Thursday the 20th. Harkins Northfield 18 8300 E. Northfield Boulevard Denver CO 7:00pm AMC Westminster Promenade 24 10655 Westminster Blvd. Westminster CO 7:00pm UA Denver Pavilions Stadium 15 500 16th St. Denver CO 7:00pm UA Denver West Village Stadium 12 14225 W. Colfax Ave. Golden CO 7:00pm AMC Cherry Creek 8 3000 East First Avenue Denver CO 7:00pm How about Northfield or Promenade? Those are pretty easy to get to. The Denver West would work for us, too.
I'd like to do Northfield. It's a bit closer for everyone without having to go downtown. I aint afraid of no ghost!
ok...so looks like the south crew is going to go on the 27th at Cherry Creek...so if you wanna go twice.
Were probably going this coming Thursday at Denver West, because both of us get off work at 6 and it's just down the street. If anyone on the west side wants to come with...
Some of us talked about it yesterday, Nerf, and, alas, the most convenient site for the majority on a weekday at that time is the Northfield/Stapleton. So several of us will be at the Northfield location for Ghostbusters this Thursday the 20th at 7. See y'all there!
This the one you are talking about: Harkins Northfield 18 8300 E. Northfield Boulevard Denver CO Anyone want to meet ahead of time for pre-GB drinks/food? Also, you guys think it's necessary to advance-purchase the txt??
Youre welcome to join us, though we probably will get there right when, or just before, the movie starts. I do not predict there will be a line or a large crowd.
Seeing it on the big screen was interesting because there were a few things we never noticed before. Like the foreshadowing of Stay Puft marsh mellows not only once but twice, and the crazy guy in the jean jacket hanging out behind the reporter talking of the phantom locomotive.
ohhh i would but you are too far away and i think we are either going to trivia in lakewood or watching baseball....so after either of those yes, but hence you are too far away.
Baseball? Non-Rockies baseball, I assume... And, yeah, you better catch that trivia this Friday since you rarely go.
I'd like to go. What theater? My votes would be the Harkins or possibly the Continental if you want to come down that far.
