Cross-posted from my art thread: Guri. Xizor. An obscure little insect Jedi from the Young Jedi Knights series, whose name I can't recall. If you know which character fits the description of "insect Jedi," "fly-like Jedi," "bug Jedi," anything like that, please let me know. I have had no luck finding this little guy's name.
Well, I found out some more about that little Jedi. He was in Junior Jedi Knights (my bad), The Golden Globe, and was never given a name. He was one of two fly-like Jedi, and no gender was given: Well, @Eyrezer suspected that those two little Jedi were possibly of Skeeter's species, so his look was used as a basis, while additional details, such as the texture of the head and the reflection of the eyes, were supplied by a western pine borer beetle. So, yay on going super-obscure!
No wonder I couldn't find the insect Jedi after looking through all of character sections of appearances for YJK. I had actually read most of both YJK and JJK years ago.
*sneaks in a Wedge Antilles sketch card.* And now, for Beyghor Sahdett, everyone's favorite Verpine Jedi.
Seven more days for me to draw at least one more character. Is there an award for being the most prolific?
Oh! I think I posted in the wrong thread a moment ago. ( I get lost easily). I didn't get to do a character in the competition, so please accept this peace offering. ( sorry for posting it twice) Jedi Master Fay
Got two more. Kyle Katarn, because not drawing him would have been a sin. Link, because Imageshack isn't showing the thumbnail. Finally got Callista off my drawing list. I used Rita Hayworth as her character model.
I went to Hobby Lobby today. I bought art supplies. Four packs of pre-cut blank trading cards. Two smooth finish Bristol card packs (20 cards each), one bamboo natural finish card pack (ten cards), and one linen-finish acrylic card pack (ten cards). That gives me sixty cards to draw on. For those worried about my wrist, I bought a nighttime splint to help ease the carpal tunnel issues.
Quick @Corellian_Outrider! Close this one before we are inundated with more art from this wonderful artist!
Whoa...... umm... be sure to take regular breaks, we don't want you to wear your arm off. If there are some that need cutting... I recommend to not cut all of them just yet, you might want to save it for will be happening next week.
Oh, I have plenty of Bristol board and other supplies lying around. I bought the pre-cuts to keep from having to cut all my board!
