Poor, clueless Artoo. Hopefully we'll get a coherent account of what happened later on.

 

We walked for a little while longer before finding the stormtroopers and when we did we resented the agreed upon cover story. Master Luke took the name Jade and told them he had been ordered by Captain Karrde to capture the woman who had stolen from him. And what had she stolen? Me. I am loot now. But fine, I'm not complaining. It's better to have been stolen than to have been turned into a pile of junk.

Och, poor R2! Not able to see that Luke loves him as much as a family member.

And Artoo's right. Given Luke's track record, the odds of this succeeding are slim. But thankfully it all somehow works out in the end! Somehow...

Although, it would have been better if she would have used her skills as a professional Hand to apply the salve on Master Luke properly.

That's right; 3PO was the messenger. But R2 being mad about the lack of damage to 3PO when he thought he was leading the attack is R2.

 

Love Artoo's disappointment that Threepio was just relaying orders and not actually leading the attack. It would interesting to see what Threepio would do if put in a military leader position... His soliders would be trained to apologize to the enemy for the inconvience as they marched into battle!

Though, also I agree with JL. Luke, give Artoo some monster-truck wheels! There'd be no stopping him after that! Not to mention it'd be really awesome...

I do not think I can unsee this. But then again, it sounds so awesome that I don't want to unsee it!

 

I would like to hear Artoo's thoughts on why he no longer has those booster rockets that he had in the prequels.

»» ADDENDUM » CORRECTION: C-3PO has just explained to me that it was General Calrissian that led the attack and not him. He merely related Master Luke's instruction to the General. Yes, that does make more sense, although it is a bit disappointing.

I just love your Artoo and how he tries to reason things out!

 

I have to say, C-3P0 making a mess of a simple command 'wait until we're at the archway to attack' does seem perfectly probable. Though, so is Lando doing so.
