How was the gig, Boogie? (And dare I ask about the Twi'lek twins? )

 

The Twilek twins are because I lost a game, and mods shouldn't really be game banned, so I get this instead.

The gig was absolutely fantastic. Hundreds of people, up and dancing! Heh. Lots and lots of fun.

 

I'm still having flashbacks about saying "No thanks" to that waitress


Glad to hear the gig was a success! Replicate it on Friday! Or at least be prepared to see me dance like a spazz!

 

Yes, the meeting was a journey into the dark side of Melbourne's evil yum cha waitresses. I shall never sleep again.

And since Tempest has just come out, there's at least a three week grace period where searching for LotF doesn't occupy my every waking moment

Anyway...a meet/welcome party for Nat sounds good. Shall we make it a wedding theme?

Panicked. It's getting there, the most important things are sorted now thankfully. What about yours?

 

Yay! A meet for me! I like those types of meets. Had a few of them when I visited the folks in the UK!

On a more positive note. I rang Region 4 office today, and they were going to ring me! I have an meeting set up for next Saturday morning at Middle Brighton. They'd like to talk to me before offering me a position. Cross fingers!

 

As far as I know - May change tomorrow (When I find out which shifts/sign contract etc.), I 'll be able to do anything during the day since I've been upgraded to full time, changed departments (Eveningfill/Nightfill), and have a temporary promotion (2IC, permanent after 3 weeks - With further option as Manager in a further 4 weeks time depending on how I perform over the next 7 weeks).

So as long as it is before say 3-3.30pm, I'll be fine.

 

Just don't mention the following words near me:

Bridesmaid
Dress
Mother
Guest List


And my answer is "Oh not bad at all! I just wish I had more money!"

Regarding gigs, well, the best I can think of is that we are playing at the St Kilda fest on Feb 11, and of course, it is free for all! The best kind of gig...

 

Reeeheeeheeeeaaaallly? That sounds like a bit of a plan...Also, Dan, I'm planning on sending my sister to your gig in GTown. I promised her dancing. And she'll probably come up to you and say "You're one of my sister's geeks! Is she really a big geek?"
