Great point, that makes a lot of sense. Hopefully Dave Filoni will read that and work it into the show somehow.

An indictment of the collective wit of TCW writers, to be sure.

Regardless, it's a moment of outstanding voice acting.

Ventress is an example of TCW actually giving a character a strong arc to develop on. I'm really interested on where her motivations lie in the season finale.

Ventress has probably the strongest character arc in the series at the moment. Arguably only Rex has anywhere near as much linear development.

This could be a big spoiler, it's not confirmed, but read at your own risk.

I think Ventress dies in the season finale. It hasn't been confirmed or anything, but I just happened to stumble across and image from a comic of Obi-Wan holding her and she's dying, and she says "Stop Dooku from destroying Coruscant"... So Dooku could hire some Bounty Hunters (Ventress and Embo) of course he wouldn't know it's Ventress he's hired, but yeah, then she could just be doing this job to get to Dooku and kill him, but it all goes horribly wrong for her.

That's from the old comic Star Wars: Obsession and

    Show Spoiler
She didn't actually die. She just used Sith powers to make it look like she did. She got up aboard the shuttle she was being carried on and forced the pilots to take her as far away from the war, Dooku, and the Jedi as possible.

Obsession is pretty much non-canon now anyway, much to the chagrin of many of this forum's users I'm sure.

Yeah! Sad, but true... one of the best comic omitted cause Lucas does not know how to tell a good story without destroying things...:_|

Toooooo true! I love that cliffhanger...

When I first read that I thought, Man we're getting to the end then I saw it's from the comic that obviously no one cares about (Obsession). and then :_|

I don't think we'll be seeing Thorn negotiating with his big rotary gun in peoples faces until season 6. Would still like DF to make a statement on WTF is happening.

Yea but Thorns probably not in the hammer gun shooting scene when he looks like he is going to die.

Good, maybe they'll keep him around for more than an episode then, and he might not even die which would be great, but I was really looking forward to seeing that scene of him with the rotary canon this season.

Back to Ventress: anyone agree with the opinion voiced in another thread that the poor woman has "expectations" of Obi-Wan - after all, he has called her "my dear" and all that, probably leading her on while two-timing her with other women. The "my dear" is clearly making her think he's staking his claim.

/Seriously joking both to get the thread back to Ventress and to have fun with a discussion on another thread.

I liken the Obi-Wan/Ventress relationship to a Batman/Catwoman relationship now.

I honestly like the pairing. Obi-Wan and Asajj clearly have chemistry. "Revenge" is my favourite episode of the entire show partially because Darth Maul comes back with a vengeance, but otherwise because I saw a team-up I never thought I'd see on TCW. More Obi-Wan/Asajj team-ups!!

I know, I'm actually looking forward to this even more than the Maul arc.

All this Ahsoka is building up to the finale. Hopefully, it pays off in a big way.

Ventress' appearance will balance out the Ahsoka nausea.

It's Obi-Wan's fault that Ventress went dark, Valairy.
