Because, once upon a time in the land of Oz, there was a very smart little boy. He went to school, studied hard and learnt his lessons well. He grew up to be just like his father, who owned a hotdog and hotdog bun business.

Unfortunately he was hit by a car so his dumb*** brother inherited the business instead and since he couldn't count he put the hotdogs in packages of eight and the hotdog buns in packages of twelve.

The moral of this story: look both ways when you cross the road.
