Jabba would be better escargot.
The space slug may be silicon based (difficult to digest for most species) and seems to contain some atmosphere, making him a gassy food. I woulden't order either one on a first date.

What do the *ahem* plumbing fixtures in jabba's palace look like since they must accomidate so many different sized and shaped users, some with out leggs?

 

THere's a giant room at the back of the palace where they just go on the floor (which is covered with sand) and they have giant fans that blow the smell out and mix around the sand so it covers up some of the...uh...waste and stuff. Just be careful where you step!
