To get to know me better, i thought it would be a good idea for you all to know my country better. So, if you want to know anything at all about Northern Ireland or Ireland, whether it be about the troubles or the weather, just ask :)

Of course we do. Maybe even more so. We're very proud of U2.

But my personal opinion is that U2's best work is behind them, and that Bono is getting more and more about the image and less about the music as time goes on. Alot of the time Bono is full of crap.

U2 broke into my top 5 best concerts with their last tour (saw them both in Indy and at the 2000 Superbowl), so their best stuff might be behind them, but their ok stuff is still better than most of the other crap I have to suffer thru whilst changing radio stations between Jim Rome & NPR.

    No.

Actually, it turns out that uh... William Wallace was Irish. Yeah.

Why is Irish music so completely rockin'?

Seriously, from Los Angeles to Seattle, to Chicago, to New York, to Paris, to Berlin....in every town I've ever really partied in, I always manage to find the Irish bars, and the Irish tunes.

Amazingly enough, Austin, Texas, and Amsterdam, Holland provided an Irish music scene that was really impressive.

The Scots make better whisky though.

Hey, you can't trick me, you leprechaun. I happen to have a Scottish-English-Dutch-American friend who is well-informed on the subject of Scots being better than the Irish:

[Scottish-English-Dutch-American friend]: William Wallace wasn't Irish
[Scottish-English-Dutch-American friend]: the Wallaces were a Welsh family that had married into the Scots quite a while before that
    [Scottish-English-Dutch-American friend]: :p

That being said, how is county Galway? That's where my ancestors come from. :)
