Astromech Droids of Taris and Spiders of Utapau!

mentions an Pau'an on ROTS walking his pet giant spider. Anyone got a pic of this, or any other info on these spiders?

Also, I'm making the list of astromechs fro Wookieepedia, anyone know the names of any NPC astromechs from KOTOR and KOTOR? I only have two so far.

 

The only one I can think of is the faulty T3-unit you can buy on Taris, only to have it explode ten seconds later. Can't remember the name, though.

Cripes, some enterprising young buck needs to go in and take copious notes on the droids in the KotOR games, which is something I haven't done.

I mean, seriously -- in many cases, the games flat out GIVE YOU Official Guide-calibre make-and-model numbers right when you're speaking and/or fighting with them!

You should have brought this up a week sooner, I just finished replaying KOTOR again.

There are the bodygaurd droids on the Dantooine estates.

the medical droids--the floating ones with 4 arms
the assault droids that have one leg and look kinda like shielded droidekas

Maintenance droids--there are two varieties, small floating ones that look like the Remote and large bipeds whom later serve as heavy guardians for Goto with three pincers per hand and using sonic waves to clean

Goto Guard Droids--physically, resemble Goto himself, assumedly lack his sophisticated programming

Czerka Protocol Droids--there must be tons of models, programming wise, but externally they all look the same; two cofirmed models are the C6 and C7

That would be B-5D8, there outside the Czerka warehouse. Then, T3 encounters C7-E3 and C6-E3 inside the facility.

The giant tank-droid thing in the army base's hangars? Can't remember it's model designation for the life of me.

Hmmm...was one that aboard Goto's yacht?

 

In the game it's just called "Tank Droid". The UTC file is called "c_drdmkfour001", though, so "Tank Droid Mark IV" would probably be the full designation.

I think he's referring to the other type, the droid fixing the comm system.

The battle droids that Tanis Venn uses to hunt wraid in KOTOR I are K-X12s.

 

Allow me to be specific.

One is a small version of the spider assult driods. the large versions can be found on many worlds, but the best palce to look for them is Manaan, where they aren't enimies

The small version, which has a pair of extenible spike arms, appears commonly. the only place I can remember though, would be on korriban, where you can use one.

The flying droid I discus is bizarre looing. It looks like an inverted y with an assult driod head. One can be found availible for use on Ksy..Yss.. Eden (as the wookie world is called in game by Czerka) outside the Czerka camp gates.

 

Leto, I'm afraid Mydronium is right, the droid OUTSIDE the warehouse is just another protocol; the comm droid is INSIDE the warehouse

and those droids are not on Goto's yacht; none of the humanoid droids on the yacht have gunds, so that is still a mystery

also, there is at least one C9, so apparently the C6 is wrong about C7 being the most recent protocol model

one of the protocol variants may be S-OD serving droids

on Dxun, we have Construction Droids. 3 models: Mark I (basic), Mark II (huge), and Foreman (four arms)--all in the weapons cache

also on Dxun, the A9 remote droids; these droids were deployed by Republic military droid carriers when Revan's forces conquered the Mandalorian remnant guard on Dxun

also, i made a mistake, the sonic-wave cleaners are called Cleaning Droids, not Maintenance Droids, on Nar Shaddaa

the Goto-looking droids are in the audience chamber called Sentry Droid Mark I

also, on a non droid note, the fighters that look sorta like Delta-7s are called either Onderon military fighters or Onderon fighter craft

 

Even odder, there's a C8-42 in KOTOR I, five years earlier. C6 was way off. The numbering doesn't necessarily need to be sequential, though.

Could anyone tell me if the comm droid on Nar Shaddaa actuall is the construction droid Mark I or maybe the five armed foreman? you ahve to get T3-M4 inside the warehouse

 

Right, the Communications Droid is Condrdl.

A few more:

Mk1drd and mk2drd are the Peragus mining droids ("Mining Droid Mark ___"). I don't know if the Drdmine ones are even in the game. There's another skin for the mk1drd model, used for the Excavator Droid Mark I.

Drdspyder is the Rakatan droid from KOTOR I ("Ancient Droid" in the game). I don't know if that model's in TSL. They're pretty good at not reusing unique models like that, so I'd guess not.

Drdsentry is the Sentry Droid Mark I.

The drdmouse line are identified as "Maintenance Droid".

The drdmkone, two, and four are all "Assault Droid Mark ___"

Drdassassin is simply "Assassin Droid". It appears in Marka Ragnos' tomb in KOTOR I, but I don't know about KOTOR II.

One that I did forget to include is the G0-T0 line. Goto himself, as well as the Goto Guard droids, who look exactly like G0-T0.

 

when you find the Exile on the Droid Yacht the Goto lookalikes are caled Sentry droid mark I
