In the book did it say anything about Anakin feeling his mothers death. A lot of time in the EU it talks about how when someone close to you dies and you are a jedi that you can feel it.

I was just wondering if the booked mentioned Anakin feeling anything?

Of course he felt it. If Leia can feel Anakin die from across the galaxy, how would Anakin not "feel" his mother die when she's right in front of him? There was no reason to address whether or not he felt it in the Force, because he knew she was dead anyway. The whole point of "feeling" a loved one die is for people to find out when they're not actually present.

Whilst I'm sure he felt her death, nothing was written probably because he was there at the time. The feeling came thorugh his actions, ie the murder of the Tusken camp. To me I feel he was feeling a little annoyed to say the least.
