Hello gang. My name is Webb, and I was one of the newbies in the back corner this past weekend... I'll post another item to introduce myself.

I heard a rumor and confirmed it with a local Toys R Us. They will be selling Attack of the Clones on DVD tomorrow for only $9.99. One per customer, first come first serve, no rain checks. The one at Tatum and Cactus opens at 9:30. I don't know about anyone else, but I think I might be "sick" tomorrow morning and go in a little late :p

or if you get there too late, just go to some place like Best Buy and have them price match it. Granted, the place being matched has to have it in stock, but knowing them (being an employee), they'll be too busy to check.

    Thanks for the info, btw!

Wal-Mart isnt honoring the $9.99 price from TRU anymore because they found out TRU got a special deal for a limited supply.

A ton of them. At least at the Best Buy on Alma School and Southern, I can only guess that the others would too.

The Paradise Valley Best Buy honored it at $10, but the girl said it ended at noon. I was there at 11:57. :D

I also got a free calendar. Hehehe. :D

They have the 4 disk set of LOTR for $25 through the weekend. I'm not sure if Void mentioned that, but I was tempted to get it at that price.

Oh what a day to be a fan. Too bad we couldn't have flyers or stickers of the PFF on the DVD racks. The DVD's are flying off the shelves as we speak, and it would be a great way to get to the fans.

I can't believe a brand new DVD is less than $10. I love it

Now only if new CD's could be so cheap

Ya know what baldy :), you've got a point..

Why is it that a full motion picture, which had thousands of people involved from producers, directors, actors, CG artists, cinematographers, etc, can produce a 2-disc several-hour multimedia extravaganza for around $10, where a 5-man band with only a relatively few people involved, sound engineer, producer, etc., produce a <60 minute audio-only album for around $15? This concept TOTALLY boggles my mind. As far as I'm concerned, RIAA is digging their own grave.

This is off topic, I know, but when you say $15 that's just the starting price. I think it's more common to see CDs at between $17 and $21 each...

    ^^^ Well said. :)

BTW, the TRU in Paradise Valley had the new R2, plus the 12" Like & TaunTaun, plus lotsa nice 12" and other figures. And the Gunship.

I coulda blown a LOT of money in there, but decided against it. :( I hate being on a budget and attempting to be financially responsible. :_|

I want my overtime back!!!!! That was my play money. :_|

Yup, picked up the DVD from TRU-Paridise Valley this morning. After getting the DVD I strolled past the toys area an noticed the new R2 and LARGE Luke/Tauntaun figure. I'm with you ObeyWann, I wish I had more fun $ too. Gone are the days of cleaning out the local TRU action figure department. :)

Speaking of action figures... anyone see any of the Clonetrooper figures other than the red-colored ones? Are yellow, blue or plain white ones out yet?
