Amph Atomic Robo: Last Stop

An upcoming animated short, based on the critically-acclaimed Atomic Robo comic series (one of my favorite things, ever) from Red 5 Comics. Written by co-creator Brian Clevinger, it will feature "an epic battle between Robo and his arch enemy Helsingard".

The Fictory's website also has some animation tests available as well.

Given that I've been hoping for a full-on Atomic Robo animated series ever since Issue #1 came out, I hope this leads to, at the very least, future shorts, if not an actual series.

For those who aren't familiar with AR, there are some free comics online, including the entire first issue, and everything else are available in trades:

There's a Kickstarter up for the film now. it's already reached it's goal, but for fans, a nice way to contribute towards this labor of love.
