If the crowd 'react' while the movie is on I'll personally castrate every single one of them. I don't want no loud mouthed high pitched fanboy-comments while the second best movie of the year is playing.

I'm glad Tom Bombadil wasn't in the film although it meant that we didn't get to see Merry stuck in Old Man Willow.

Personally I'm sick of going to packed cinemas. YOu miss the half the movie because of the people around you laughing, kids crying, people standing to go to the toilet, kids talking, groups of friend making dickhead remarks.

So I decided the I would go to a cinema that won't be packed so that I can get the whole movie without losers annoying me. Like when I went to LOTR, We Were Soldiers, Matrix, Ep1, Remember the Titans, and just about every decent comedy movie I've seen.

I guess you could consider it anti-social, but I'm going to go again with about half a dozen of my friends to see it on the Saturday of that week so in the end it all balances out.

I guess I'm old and cynical in my old, cynical age.

 

I actually like going to movies where there are tonnes of people there. In my opinion, it really livens the experience, and you get to laugh loudly, knowing that there will probably be someone else laughing louder than you are!!!!

 

I agree, packed cinemas are great it just adds to the experience.

 

Be worth it once at least, then if you still want to be there with nobody around you can always go again, best of both worlds that way.
