STAR WARS fans, the buzz has begun. The first wave of memorabilia from the feverishly-anticipated Star Wars, Episode II: Attack Of The Clones is up for grabs for rabid devotees. To hype the arrival of the latest instalment, distributor 20th Century Fox Singapore is issuing a series of postcards that depict nine individual characters. Only 20,000 postcards of each character will be available. They can be picked up at cinema lobbies nationwide. The first postcard, featuring Anakin Skywalker, had already made its way to racks last Thursday. The remaining eight Star Wars character postcards will be introduced on a weekly basis. These characters include Jedi master Yoda and new arch-villains Jango Fett and Count Dooku. Ms Janice Tay, 40, marketing director of 20th Century Fox Singapore, says the postcards are released to 'get people excited about the movie, and to introduce the good and bad guys to the public'. The movie opens in cinemas here on May 16, the same time as in the United States. Life! takes an exclusive peek at the attack of the postcards. http://straitstimes.asia1.com.sg/life/story/0,1870,111930,00.html?
