I called Quail Springs, and they said online tickets for their midnight showing could go on sale as early as next week. I'll call again on monday for any further information.

I just heard 1 to 2 weeks in advance. That's still a little vague. I guess the best thing to do would be to call them back next week.

Just for reference:

April 18th - 4 weeks

April 25th - 3 weeks

May 2nd - 2 weeks

May 9th - 1 week

 

I called AMC tonight, but wasn't able to reach anyone. I got the automated system, which said that movie were only scheduled 2 weeks in advance. I assume this will go for Star Wars as well.

 

Here's what i'm thinking.

I saw an ad for Spiderman tickets online last Friday. Spiderman comes out May 3, so I'm sure we could expect that kind of lead time on SW online sales.

I bugged them today, i'll continue to bug them until i find oue something new.

I just got off the phone with a lady from AMC. She said that they didn't yet know when tickets go on sale, but they will probably know next week.

Next week's only 2 days away!

And the movie's only 21 days away! 3 weeks!

 

What about AOTC in IMAX?

 

Haven't heard anything about it. It would be cool if they did that, though.

 

As of today, still not able to get advanced tickets.----I'm thinking maybe Thursday?

 

My buddy called AMC, and they said that they probably won't go on sale 'til after Spider-Man. I'll be there on Friday to see SM, so I'll probably ask around then.

 

didn't you know that they can't put the tickets on sell tell after we all get back from cel2 so you all have to wait tell monday at least

 

I'm hearing May 3rd from a lot of people.
I sure hope it is, since there will be all those people at celebration 2, maybe there won't be as many there.
And its a little something for those of us who are too poor to go to celebration 2.

 

I doubt May 3rd for two reasons:

Thousands of Star Wars fans will be at Celebration 2

Spiderman comes out that same day. I doubt theaters will want TWO HUGE LINES of people in thier lobbies.

 

I've heard May 3 from a couple of people as well. I'm positive that is when AMC is putting tickets for sale online.

 

Whenever it is, I don't think I'm going to go to a midnight showing anymore, f there is even going ot be any of those around here.

I'm probably going during the day at Regal X-Roads.

 

Just got off the phone w/ AMC and Crossroads. AMC tickets go on sale on Fri. at the box office ONLY. They didn't know if they were having a midnight showing. Regal said that there were going to be NO sneak previews or early showings.

 

And I just called AMC 24 @ Quail, and they said they go on sale when they open, which is at 10:30 AM.

 

So they go on sale Friday at 10:30 at AMC. I wish I could see AOTC on my 65" widescreen TV.

I'll probably just go see it during the day too.

Oh well, I would be too. And I'd definately prefer to watch it at home on DVD also. Those theater seats start to get very uncomfortable after about 20 or so minutes.

 

Just called Quail Springs Theater. They won't announce if they'll have a midnight showing or not until tomarrow at 8 AM.

 

Hey fellow Oklahomans,

I've never posted in here before, but I figured now would be a pretty good time. I'm a student at OU right now, but after next week's finals, I'll be residing in Elk City, OK. I've checked amctheatres.com and they are having a 12:01 showing (you have to choose Wednesday, May 15th instead of Thursday, May 16th) at Quail Springs. I will be coming up to see it. Who's with me!?

Just got my tix for 12:01. WOOOOHOOOO!!!! I suppose as of this post, there are tickets still availible.

BTW, Spiderman ain't bad, but it's no AOTC!
