    Pfffft. You were so fooled.

This is a sequel to last year's AFD thread where I got everyone with the trailer being online for those of you who want some FF history.

Darn, I thought you were talking about one of the OT movies in like Quicktime format or something... :(

Although if you looked hard enough, they probably would be online somewhere... ;)

Hey Shara, can you change the title of the thread to "Attack of the Clones is online"? I think that might work better as a prank.

Oh, and on iMesh there is a curious file titled Star Wars Episode 2 AOTC part 2 of 2 - DivX.avi and is about 100megs big.

    What the hell is that?

Thanks Shara. We'll see how this all goes down.

I was got by a rugby league related fool this morning. I thought it was a bit strange that Matthew Ridge would be making a comeback today. :)

Part 2 of 2 and only 100 MB?

    Couldn't be much.

Considering that the Clone War trailer was about 30MB in mpeg format.

To fit AOTC in full into 200MB it would have to be like a 100*80 lo-res mpeg or such.

    Still ...

    *downloads iMesh*

Actually, the movies that are downloadable off these programs are usually around that sort of size and in the avi format. I don't know though. It doesn't sound right at all.

There is a leaked copy of AOTC floating around on the internet, but to my knowledge, it is an incomplete version of the film with a lot of shots not having any computer editing performed on them at all. As for a full working copy, I am aware of many fakes plus one that I was undecided upon and wasn't ready to risk downloading 991meg to find out it was fake...

Is it an MPG or AVI file? You should be able to preview an MPG file.

It was an mpg file, but it doesnt become and mpg file until its completely downloaded, i tried renaming it to see if it really was the genuine article, but that still wouldn't work, and my net stats are far too high for me to risk downloading a 991 meg file that may turn out to be a fake. Besides, I can wait until the movie screens, I can download it after that, where there will be plenty more opportunity for there to be fakes, hooray :).
