yeah guess you have a point ozagghis
"Same as for any other HC. $39.95"
Kadue, I CAN'T believe you paid that!!
Kmart has it for about $23 (plug plug!), plus getting the 7.5% staff discount doesn't hurt either!
Yes, Target and Kmart prices should be about the same, so you can get the Cross-Sections and Visual Dictionery for about $19 each!
I got mine in QBD for $30. And then a minutes (or less) later, I saw it for $23 in Target, dammit!!!!
You should have taken it back to QBD for a refund! Should have said it was a birthday present, but got it mixed up, your friend is a Star TREK fan not a Star WARS fan - hey, it could work!
No idea what planet you all is shopping on.
I went to Angus & Robertson, Target, K-Mart, Big-W, David Jones ... NOTHING.
The ONLY place I found it was Collins booksellers. And for $39.
And since a fool and his money are soon parted... I bought it.
And then spent all afternoon reading it.
And now I feel all ... dirty
Trying to convince people to shop at K-Mart now, are we?
Well you're doing a good job - I know where I'm getting mine.
I think all the other books will be there tomorrow.
I went to QBD at around 2pm. And when I went back an hour later, I found visual dictionaries which weren't there at 2pm!!!!
Yes, shop at Kmart!
"Home of Low Prices"
I work at Head Office, and the Book Buyer is in my division... sadly no free copies though!
Is it true that K-Mar tis having a 15% off sale on Thursday?
Storewide 15% off are always on a Sunday / Monday - however, departmental specific sales occur during different times.
I don't think that there is one this Thursday...
Bah! It was just a rumour I heard around the place. It's always the best time to get a few DVDs.
cheap shoppers are we?!
i feel rite at home
What did you guys think of the ligh-sabers?
I saw too there, there were some really expensive ones that made noises, and there were some silent ones, but i ddnt think they were very long!!!!
But those short lightsabres are cool cause they don't pop open when they're upside down.
The $30 sabers were only about 60cm I guess. The $68 ones said on the front 3 feet, which I think is 90cm...not bad I guess...but I'm not sure if it reracts back into its handle afterwards or not.
Bah. If you're anything like me and my friends, yoiu'll be pulling the sabers apart and replacing the blades with foam rubber. I think I personally destroyed half a dozen sabers for TPM.
Damn I wish I had enough money to buy one of them AND get tickets...
I was disappointed by the saber toys, i was expecting them to be really cool from the way a friend was describing them.
David Jones matches prices if you can't find one a Target....
I'm just gonna do what I did last time, and wait until the prices are slashed. (The books, I mean, I don't buy toys). After some months, Borders will be offloading the books for $8 a pop, and they'll be giving away those pictoral guides in showbags at the Easter show.
Mick, it was either pay $39.95 or wait longer, impatience won. Besides, I'm part of the BookLovers at Dymocks, and actually got about $15 off the price with all the stuff I've accrued in the last couple of weeks buying books as presents.
I'm going to be in France when AOTC comes out so I may as well buy the novel so I know what the hell they're saying. My girlfriend speaks French but I think her translating for me will probably piss off everyone in the cinema.
Mai La Force Soit Avec Vous
25th April is the Official Date for the release of AotC in Target.
LOL, Ozhaggis OBVIOUSLY used a translator for that!!!!!
Not at all. I am fluent in over three million forms of communication. I can -
