    Fellow Star Wars fans,
Hello I am a new guy, from Indy, went to Celebration II with my brother absolutely loved it, Star Wars fans going way back. Anyway, what are your guy's plans for Friday at the IMAX. Me, my brother and a friend of mine are going, and wanted to know what to expect.

    Thanks

    STARWARSRocks - welcome!

Well, the Reader's Digest answer to your question is that there is a midnight showing tonight at 12:01 am, for which tickets are still available, and which will also be a costumed performer event. Tomorrow is the official Opening Day festivities, with the main emphasis being the 8 pm show tomorrow night. Costumed performers, media coverage, charity events, you name it.

For details, check out these other threads:

Nicetameetcha! Stick around - we'd love to have you here!

    Hey, everybody!

Well, Ron and I have been feeling out the populace here for a while, and after talking about it this week, we felt that there just wasn't enough interest to do an official event. This obviously is due to the fact that it's the weekend before Christmas, and the general consensus is that Holiday stuff is higher on the priority totem poles. :)

I can tell you that the very last showing of AOTC on Christmas Eve is the 4:30 showing, so depending on people's schedules, there could be one last mass IK viewing... this thread would probably be the best to feel this idea out. Alas, I will not be able to attend - my family's booked everyday between now and next Saturday. Sick, isn't it? :)

So, I'll leave it up to the good judgement of all those who might be interested. Remember, if you can get a group of 20 or larger, you will get the discount mentioned earlier in this thread!

Is it possible that IK members who don't have costumes could go too?
