Huh? what do you mean by "own"? lol remember I'm from England, so the slang may differ over here.

"Own" basically means beaten badly, no real effort or challenge.

It's sort of gamer slang too.
if you ever get a chance to read
Lewt Warz you'll see it used alot.

Especially the phrase "You got owned n00b!11!"

It's not the world broadcast premier. AOTC was on several times each month on Sky movies here in the UK between 2003 and 2004.

I can't watch this on tv, everytime I see a Pan & Scan star wars film I feel like gouging out my eyes and vomiting everywhere. It was murder watching it on HBO.

That's a good way to watch AOTC if you like commercial breaks interrupting the movie. :)

I remember when they first showed TPM on FOX. I was like, "No... Not commercials." I'll probably watch AotC just to see where they stick the commercials. That's always fun.

    EDIT:

And I can't wait for new Family Guy. Seeing the same episodes over and over on Cartoon Network has lost it's fun.

You know what they have to do, ABC did this with Gladiator, they premiered a one time world premier of Gladiator with all the deleted scenes integrated into the film.

That rocked they should do it with the SW films

I wish they'd disply it widescreen, the Pan and scan of TPM didn't look so good.

I know, it cropped out my favorite part with Obi-Wan, When Darth Maul uses the force to open the hanger door, Obi-Wan walks towards maul swinging his lightsaber. It's the funniest thing that I have seen in TPM.

As for displaying it widescreen, that will never happen, unless God himself passes on the knowledge of Widescreen to every living being while they sleep.

Probably to get the non-Star Wars folk's kids to see it and beg their parents to take them.
