    IC: Jane (Dinning Hall)

Jane was enjoying the meal, with some great delight. People were dancing and having fun. Though unlike the rest, she could not tell who were slayers or such. So she watched everyone, while she eat. She was impressed at the bueity of the place, but angered, that the undead had it. Poeple moved to and fro, as they danced and eat, though, she noticed that some were not even taking a bit. "Good, just stay away", as her anger built up.

After what seemed a long time, there were screams of pain and torment, as the lights went out. Jane moved back, deeper into the shadows, as she heard poeple rushing around, and hissing sounds of the undead. A smile spread acrossed her face, "Good, at least these "normal" poeple, will have a second chance of vengence, and she went into her spell casting.

Dropping some spell components as she spoke the words of power, her voice rang out into a crensdo of sound. Than as her spell reached it's apax, she pointed in the direction of the few that had already passed before the onslaught. The newly dead arose to do her bidding. "Find your killers and destroy them, THIS I COMMAND!" Her newly risen army, stalked after two of the retreating vampires, as they went after new prey, thinking that they were alone. Not anymore, for long.

Drawing the attention of five vampires, she pulled forth her sword, and casted a very quick spell of fire. Her three foot sword, blazed of heat and cleansing fire, but it harmed her not. "Come, and meet your new doom, worm food!" Then she attacked.

    __Gender: Female
    __Species: Human. Japanese
    __Hometown: Miyako City
    __Currently Resides: New England, USA.
__Former Career: Evidence Recovery Specialist for the Police. She has also trained in Hairdressing and Fashion.

    --APPEARANCE--
    __Height: 5'11"
    __Build: Very naturally slim.
__Hair Style/Colour/Worn: Asian hair, a natural colour of very dark brown, worn very long and straight to her hips, with a long sweeping fringe and side parting.
    __Facial Hair: N/A.
    __Clothing: Fashionable. Designer/Japanese Street Fashion.
    __Tattoos: None.
__Makeup: Subtle blusher and lipgloss. Usually wears a brighter colour eyeshadow, like green, blue or purple.
__Piercings: Ears a couple of times.
__Jewelery: Fashionable. A chunky diamond bracelet and necklace to match. An assortment of diamond and fashionable rings on both hands. Earrings are just studded or ringed.
    __Scars: None.
    __Eyes: Naturally Asian- dark.
__Eyewear: None. Used to wear Aviators or Nicole Ritchie sized sunglasses, but because of the lack of sun, she's given up that cliche.

__Special Abilities: High level Telekinesis and Telepathy. She can move objects from afar and of any mass within reason. It excludes such objects as tree's, buildings etc. Objects such as dustbins, people, motorbikes will degenerate her power after around 2/3 minutes. Swaying a tree or rocking a building will denegerate her skill much faster, within seconds. She can use this ability to fly, by concentrating on herself, but not distances of over countries, she could travel over a small house or over a line of three cars etc- not far at all.
Here Telepathy enables her to read the thoughts and future actions of others, for example, if someone was planning to break into her home, or someone was standing near her pointing a gun at her, she could sense it. This precognitive sense only has a rough 8-10second lapse, whereas masters of the ability use it to bring back the dead. It is also used to create medium sized telepathic forcefields and blasts, which can only knockback and injury a person mentally. In extreme uses, they can kill, but they're not purely for aggressive use. The size of the blast is no bigger than the shape of a large person and the forcefield is enough to shadow a small group of people within reason.

__Weapons: Two body length Katana's from Japan. One handled Ebony and the other handled Ivory.

__Personality: Quite serious and sarcastic. Witty, sophisticated and intelligent but with an angry, furious side.

__Bio: Chiaki grew up in the busy city of Miyako, Japan. She became used to the rush, the obliviousness of the people to one another and the secrecy. Publishing and media weren't as major as perhaps they are in America or Tokyo, so not everyone knew about the city's events or people's issues.
Chiaki learnt she had a form of mystical power from a younger age of around 14, but it hadn't fully formed. She could use it sparingly to maybe move an empty glass along a surface.
At 22, she has now fully understood the extent of her powers and how to manipulate them, and is waiting for an excuse to put them to use. However, she has managed to hide her powers from family and friend.
Recently, she was informed of the crisis in Rochester, New York, and had set out to live near to the area, in New England to test her capacities.

    OOC: Finally, I'm back!

    IC: Lucas

Lucas didn't engage in the conversation of the other slayers, although it felt wrong not to do so. He could smell vampire, wolf, and human blood inter-mingled in the group. The only reason he didn't introduce himself was because they were congregating in such a conspicuous manner. Also, he found it a bid sad, really, that he had tracked the one female this whole time and she had not as much as given him a second look; or a first one for that matter. Whether that was a testament to his own skill or her ineptitude, he knew not; however, he preferred to think it was more the former. He had a feeling that unless the other slayers possessed some extraordinary skill, most of them would never leave this house; at least, not among the living.

It seemed that his answer would come soon enough; the female that he was tracking soon put out the lights, and the room dissolved into chaos. Lucas smiled a wolfish grin and threw off his mask, revealing his disturbingly yellow eyes. In the gloom, they reflected light, much like the eyes of a wolf. The vampires had a similar method of seeing in the dark, but instead of reflecting and magnifying light within their own eyes, the vampires had glowing yellow eyes. It was a subtle difference, but enough to momentarily throw off anyone who was getting a bit, to be a bit crude, "trigger happy".

In the darkness, Lucas saw some of the other slayers already fighting off the undead vermin. He even heard one of the slayers screaming taunts and spells at the oncoming vampires. He sighed lightly to himself.

"Subtlety has no place in modern society..."

He made his way quickly to the female he had been tracking; he had not let her stray far. He knew that it was only seconds before the vampires turned on her, no matter how much they may have enjoyed her petty magic. He moved swiftly and quietly to her side, which was not hard in the swiftly increasing din. He leaned close and spoke in her ear, his voice suave and sophisticated, but full of conviction.

"Parlor tricks will not hold much favor with the undead once you try to kill them, my dear."

With that, he drew his cane sword; in the darkness, no one would know where it had come from. Even in the deep gloom, a faint light glinted off of the cross engraved at the base of the blade. He was ready for the onslaught; the undead were no match for a werewolf, especially a Sabrepaw.

The lights went out, and he looked up at the chandelier where tablecloths now lay. He smiled underneath his mask, and pulled his long cape around him. He watched the slayers around the room. He now knew who he had summoned. He had overheard part of a conversation by a woman, that the slayers needed to go to a balcony in back. Midnight cannot wait. He mysteriously walked across the room, fire alight in his palm, guiding his way. He held the light up to the clock and looked. Eleven fourty seven. He smiled, and made his way up the stairs, and through his mind, he called to all the slayers he'd summoned.
"My name is Josh Havoc, I am the man who sent you the letters. I will meet you on the balcony requested by the female slayer."
He got to where he'd now summoned the slayers, took a chair by the balcony and waited.

She watched chaos unravel. She was about to begin fighting when another man, an apparent slayer, appeared at her side and drew a sword.
"Parlor tricks will not hold much favor with the undead once you try to kill them, my dear."
She looked over at him. I know that, I was just amusing them for a moment because I was bored. Mind if I follow you? I am trying to get to the balcony in the back. That's where I've instructed the other slayers to go."
As she finished her sentance, vampires began swarming. She crouched low to the ground, and swept her leg under their feet and tripped them. She took two canes from the nearby coat rack and began fighting. She ran forward and thrust her foot into one vampire's chest, shoving him back. Another came after her from behind and grabbed her in a chokehold. She threw back her elbow and crushed the vampire's ribs, but not enough for him to let go. She then moved to the side, and swung the cane as hard as she could at the vampire. It hit below the belt, and the vampire fell to a heap on the floor.
Her mind went blank, she was recieveing a message in her head.
"My name is Josh Havoc, I am the man who sent you the letters. I will meet you on the balcony requested by the female slayer."
"Josh" she whispered to herself, then looked over at the slayer she'd just enountered. "We have to get to the balcony now. I know that man. Please tell me you got the same message in your mind!"

There were not any names, there were not any specifics. All was said was that a few of the posters have some incorrect spelling. For all I know, this could be me as well. Please, before you post your post, if you have any doubt that something is spelled wrong, I ask that you please put it through a spell checker. It is not very difficult, just copy your post, open microsoft word or something similar, and press spell check. that simple. I will do the same, as I am sure Chukles will if he feels that something is spelled wrong in his post. Thanks all, this RP is working great. -group hug to RPers- <3 Jade

Peter glanced down to the wolf and smiled slightly. ?I do not need your aid, but I thank you for the offer. One does not become a good slayer by not being able to see in the dark.? He began to stride into the crowd, no fear or confusion evident in his demeanor. Despite the commotion of the vampires around him, they all seemed to ignore him. They even seemed to be moving out of his way, yet unaware of his presence. It was due to his special ability that this was possible. Occasionally there was a vampire who was strong enough to see him, but they were quickly put down with Peter?s wooden stake.

It was not long before he reached the base of the stairs. He glanced up, and saw that Dracule and Feneir were gone. It figured. With swiftness, he made his way up the stairs. As he reached the top, he made his way down the hallway, and glanced quickly into the darkened rooms. He heard voices inside one room, and he moved on, not wishing any inconvenience. Finally, he came to the room he had been looking for. He quietly slipped in, and shut the door behind him.

He stood in a large study. Books of all kinds lined the walls. There was a candle burning at one of the many tables, giving a soft light to the room. Peter moved towards the shelves, and began searching the spines of the book he searched for. He flipped through the pages until he found what he desired, and began running his finger down the page until he came to a passage and an image. He finished reading, and closed the book. As he did so, he received the message. He reshelved the book as it had been, and left the library. Within moments, he was on the balcony, waiting in the shadows for the other slayers to appear.

He glanced around to be sure no vampires were around, and continued talking. ?I received your message, though I do not know this Jade. I hope you have good reason for calling me here. I don?t wish to have risked my life in vain.? Peter stared into Josh?s eyes, trying to discern what he could of the man. He appeared slightly fearful, almost fidgety in his fear. This would make sense, given that he was a captive of the vampires according to his letter. It must be unnerving being around so many.

    ---------

As Lann waited for a response, the slayer looked down at him and said. ?I do not need your aid, but I thank you for the offer. One does not become a good slayer by not being able to see in the dark.? Lann wasn't really surprised, considering that that was very true. He was however surprised when the slayer began walking towards the balcony, and instead of fighting off hoards of vampires in order to get there, walked calmly as the throng steadly parted in front of him, and seemed not to notice him at all. Lann was no simpleton and quickly trotted and walked direcly behind him, benefiting from the path he cleared, and in mere moments he had also managed to make it to the balcony. Once there, he went to the set of stairs on the left and, turning back into his human form, sat down to wait for the rest of the slayers. The slayer he had followed had walked off into a room, and a short while later there was a message from the slayer who had summoned the group. He intended for everybody to meet up at the balcony, and since Lann was sitting a mere ten feet from it, and not being noticed by any of the vampires, who were busy running about and fighting it out in the crowd below, he had no intention of getting up and moving into view just yet.

About a minute or so later, a person reached the balcony and took a seat on a chair he pulled out, and not long after, the slayer that Lann had followed emerged from the backroom and was greated by the man sitting down. Lann was content to keep his spot and watch the happenings below, he wasn't afraid getting down there and fighting, but, he felt that there was little need to do so. It appeared as if Dracule and any other powerful vampires who had been in attendance had chosen to leave, and the rabble downstairs should pose little threat to the group of slayers gathered, at least that's how he saw it, so he stayed, and waited for more slayers to make their way up to the balcony.

"I know that, I was just amusing them for a moment because I was bored. Mind if I follow you? I am trying to get to the balcony in the back. That's where I've instructed the other slayers to go."

Lucas groaned inwardly. She was just having fun; it was a novice's mistake. Only the most powerful predators played with their food before eating it. Otherwise, one was just betraying her inexperience, as this girl had just done. He seemingly absentmindedly swung his thin sword, cutting the head clean off a vampire that had, until that moment, been attempting to flank the two of them.

Suddenly, his own mind went cloudy, and was filled by a man's voice, instructing him to head for the balcony. Immediately after the message, the present swam into full focus again. Another vampire lay headless on the ground; Lucas simply shrugged and looked at the girl. She spoke fairly quickly and, much to Lucas' chagrin, loudly.

"We have to get to the balcony now. I know that man. Please tell me you got the same message in your mind!"

Lucas put a finger to his lips and nodded. His fierce yellow eyes pierced her more benign blue ones.

"If I were you, I wouldn't announce all of my intentions out loud; you seem to be developing a habit of it."

With that, he spun on the spot, decapitating a vampire behind him as he did so. He began moving through the crowd, his sword moving at what seemed to be an ever-increasing rate, cutting into more and more vampires as Lucas walked. It was a rather bloody affair, truth be told, but if one were to look upon Lucas' face, he would think he was going on a simple walk in the park. He looked over his shoulder towards the girl, and lifted a finger, beckoning her to follow him.

?Peter Southland. Nice to meet you.?
"Josh Havoc of course. I did not ask you all here to risk your life for nothing. I promise that I have secrets that the vampires believed to have went with me to my grave. Since then, I have tracked the best slayers known to man, and a few well known to the undead. All of your names came up commonly, and I am glad to see one name especially." He smiled and trailed off as another man entered the room, and he held out his hand to greet him.
"Thank you very much for coming here. I assume you got my message?" He looked at him vaguely, then at the door. He knew that they could tell he was fearful. Many reasons contributing to it. Of course being around the vampires who'd held him hostage for two years, and knowing his younger sister was in the ballroom, possibly about to be killed.

She apologized to the slayer she'd met and followed him quietly, canes still in hand. She came up beside him and spoke in a sort of tense, but much quieter tone. "I am sorry for speaking so loudly back there, it's just, I know the man who sent the message in our minds, i assume you heard it as well, right?"
They began to climb the stairs, keeping the vampires at bay. She sped up and starting running down the halls, all was deserted. Everyone was down in the ballroom. Even Dracule, Feneir, Nils, and all their awful wives.

    ----------

Lann decided that it was about time to get up and go introduce himself. Jade and another slayer were almost to the steps, and other slayers seemed to be making similar progress. Lann stiffly stood up, brushing off his pants, and slowly walked towards the balcony, and the two slayers. He arrived there just as Jade and the other slayer started mounting the steps, and nodded to the slayer he had met earlier, and slightly bowed to the one who had summoned them saying. "Josh Havoc I presume, I am Lann The Sword Summoner, pleased to make your acquaintence." He made no move to shake hands or anything of the like, instead he just stood waiting, as he did when sitting down just moments earlier for the rest of the slayers to arrive. He was on his gaurd of course, but as of yet he couldn't sense any vampires charging up the stairs towards them. Soon, things were going to get interesting, and even with his calm demeanor, he was most anxious to get out of this accursed place.

    IC: Jane

Her skills with the sword, could be called magical, but it was all practice, that kept her alive for now. Her arms and hands moved little, as they cut and parried the vampires' hands and arms. Jane smiled as, what looked like a half-werewolf come at her, and a message came to her, but her focus was on the fight, so all she got was, something about a "balcony". So when she looked up that direction, she was scrached by the half-werewolf.

"Ow! You dirty dog!" She went in with flurish. Her sword, crossing in impossible speeds, and directions. Figure eights, and foot work, cut the beast down, but not before the gap the beast created closed again. "NO! I will not die yet you filthy worm guts!" She could not cast while holding her sword and defending at the same time, she had to move. She took a quick look back at the balcony, and scowled. She could see them up there acting like this was a game or something. To her, it was a well placed trap for her. They stood there in their little group, smiling and talking. Not one, coming to help in the slaughter.

Reaching under her dress, she pulled out her mother's sword. Its silver tip, and jeweled hilt shown, with an internal light, but it was not like her own. With determination and grit, she yelled one more defiance wail. "You will all pay for this, if I survive!" With that, she went into a spin, cutting down two of the vampires that had gotten too close. Heads, and arms flew in all directions. Her movements, were a dance of death to anything that got close to her. Though she too, got her cuts and scrapes. She ingored those pains and bruises, she was on a mission to get those who stood on the balcony and watched. "What I can not understand, if they are slayers, why let all this free kills get away?"

Blood leaked down her body, arousing more of the undead heads. None seemed to go up the stairs, but were coming her way. Blocking her only exit to where the traitors were. They had brought her here to die. "Maybe they are the elite of Dracule," She was angered at that thought. She was tricked in coming here, and now she was being paid in full, and in kind, of all the vampires she had killed to get to New York.

Then she noticed that there another two, that was fighting to the balcony too. So she started to move that way. "Well, at least there are more of us who got tricked." Her blades, moved with confidence and deadly ability. Two vampires stood in her way, to meet up with the man and woman, and they died screaming back to hell. She spoke loud enough for them to hear, "Come, we have been tricked by those up there, we must leave, by the quickest route and means." Her tone was final and grim. She knew, that this was going to be a long fight.

Peter looked at Josh. ?I believe I know what this is about.? He glanced down to the lower level. ?Excuse me.? He said, simply. He unbuttoned his jacket, and flipped it open. Without a second thought, he withdrew four stakes, two in each hand. With a flick of his wrists, he sent them flying at four vampires impeding the progress of the other slayers. Not wishing to waste anymore stakes, he shot off several thin beams of light, piercing five vampires through the hearts. His light beams had much the same affect on the weaker undead as a steak. Seeing the path clear of vampires for the moment, Peter turned back to the group. ?Now, where were we.?

Jade ran into the room and spotted the man in the grand tux and the sparkling red mask. His long black hair fell into his face and over the mask, a streak of blue accenting it. She ran towards him and hugged him tightly, he returned her gesture.
"JOSH! YOU'RE ALIVE!" She actually allowed herself to cry for a brief moment. She let go of the man and stepped back slightly. He kissed her cheek and then looked at the other slayers, all of whom had made their way into the room by then. He then went across the room, closed the door, then took out a wooden wand and sealed the lock with magic. He went to the balcony, and closed those doors as well, and locked them. He came back in front of the slayers, put his wand back in his tux, and took off his mask, revealing dark brown eyes, a pale, fearful face with a long scratch-like scar across it. Seeing Josh's gesture, Jade took her mask off as well, revealing her facial features to them all, revealing her face, she looked concerned.
That scar. She said to herself.
Josh bowed low to them all, elegantly, but with a slight wince.
"I am Josh Havoc, the man who sent you the letter. I have traced you, for your names are regular among the slayers of the world. You have all killed more undead alone that any ten slayers together. You are the best of the best, and I am very glad to have you here. I was one held hostage by Dracule and Nils. Their prisoners are treated badly, very badly, as you can tell by the scar across my face. While in their captivity, i learned things about them that you can use to your advantage, and to the advantage of the world. I only ask that you listen, and I only ask that you take this knowledge and put it to use. Jade, I know you will because of Dave, but the rest of you, I don't know your motives, I do not understand your reasons, but I beg you to listen. I will not betray you, I am not a spy. I am here to help, and I just ask that you trust me. I will drop my weapons, everything, please, just give me a chance."
With that, he dropped all of his knives, a gun, and his wand at his feet and held out his hands.

Lucas was moving as quickly as he could up the stairs in front of Jade; she was practically pushing him along, she was so close. He did not answer her question, for he was simply to engaged in the slaughter. He was about halfway up the stairs to the balcony when another female voice quite unlike Jade's called out from behind him.

"Come, we have been tricked by those up there, we must leave, by the quickest route and means."

Lucas allowed himself to turn his head away from the approaching vampires above to the stairs below. Through the darkness, he could make out a woman brandishing a bejewelled sword, systematically cutting down vampires with the utmost conviction. Her outfit reminded Lucas of a movie he had seen as a child, sans broom and hat, of course. He pushed away this momentary distraction and yelled back at the woman.

"Now is not the time for paranoia, my dear."

With that, he spun back around, immediately cutting into the vampire in front of him. Somehow, in the few moments he had frozen, Jade had gotten in front of him. A few stairs up, he saw more vampires dropping, but not from Jade's canes; it appeared that they were being hit by isolated beams of light. This intrigued Lucas; he had not seen such a unique attack yet in his time as a slayer. However, he could not allow for another distraction, however momentary. He continued up the stairs, which now had a clear path, and sped upwards towards the balcony. He made it midway through a speech by an as-yet-unknown-to-him scarred man. He replaced his sword within his cane in the gloom.

"I don't know your motives, I do not understand your reasons, but I beg you to listen. I will not betray you, I am not a spy. I am here to help, and I just ask that you trust me. I will drop my weapons, everything, please, just give me a chance."

He watched the man drop his weapons to the ground, and sighed inwardly.

    "Too trusting...far too trusting...

After a moment, the man continued to speak, holding out his hands.

"Jade, I already know you of course. May I ask an introduction from the rest of you?"

With that, Lucas cleared his throat and stepped forward. In the light of the room, his yellow eyes became all the more prominent, and his ring shimmered on his finger. It was also obvious that he did not look at day over 30, although he was more than twice as old. He glanced down and noticed that his beautiful maroon tuxedo had several large, darker patches on them.

"I don't know about the rest of you, but I have blood all over one of my best suits, and I'm quite anxious to know if this was all worth the inevitably large dry cleaning bill."

He smiled his wolfish grin again, and gripped the wolf's head of his cane tighter. How bowed slighty in the man's direction, never taking his eyes off of him.

"I am Lucas Chastel Gevaudon, of the Sabrepaw Clan."

    IC: Chiaki Hikaru

Chiaki waited for the rush to end. All that was made apparent from the outside darkness were screams, screeches and shouting human voices. As the noise lessened, she waited momentarily to be sure of the calm. Entering the building, there was no light, apart from whatever glint in the street had slipped in through the opening. This darkened flash made apparent the dust and gloom in the entrance room. She stepping in cautiously and attempted to piece out her surroundings, a way to find the survivors of the storm. After a few moments, she made her way up a staircase, not touching anything due to dirt scum everywhere. A slight twitching was evident from on the stairs just above her. Without thinking, she raged one of her katana's into the moving. A slight screech was heard and then there was nothing. A pile of dust seemed to ooze over the steps. "Vampires..." She spoke, quietly.

Continuing up the stairs, Chiaki came to a clearing at the top of the staircase, a hall it seemed. The lack of light of live made it difficult to piece adequately. Before pacing down the hall, Chiaki waited at the top of the steps for movement, traps and enemies. She had learnt such caution in her Police trainingm and it came as a great advantage.

When all seemed clear, she continued to a door at the end of the hall, slightly ajar. it appeared to lead outside, Perhaps a balcony... She thought. Conversation could be heard from within. I appeared to be calm and safe, so Chiaki continued. She slammed the door open. She felt it would be better the open it quickly rather than creepily, they could assume she be a vampire and attack her instantly, but this way they could see her first.

She didn't step through the door, but stood at a distance and viewed the people in the room turn around and brace themselves.

"Who here's evil then?" She spoke calmly, sweeping the hair off her shoulder as she did. The wittiest statement she could think of without sounding like a vampire.

    IC: Peter Southland

Peter stepped forward after Lucas? introduction and began his own. ?My name is Peter Southland.? He bowed with a flourish, light seeming to come from the darkness behind him. ?I?ve been hunting vampires about fours years, I was a military man, and I do it because it?s right. I have no motives besides that. My turn?s over.? He said simply, stepping back to let others introduce themselves. He was quite intrigued by the group present. Several of them he thought he recognized but others were new to him. He let the night begin to unravel itself.

"for those of you who do not know me already-" Jade began, "I am Jade Havoc, this man's younger sister. I believed him dead along with the man I was to marry for three years." Josh nodded in her direction, and the direction of the other two men. He then looked back and forth between them all.
"Then I shall tell you what I have learned. Any objections to this? and-" he added. "I do find this worth the value of a dry cleaning bill, I will pay for it myself if you do so wish."

"Now is not the time for paranoia, my dear."

Jane sniffed at the man's statement, and turned to kill another vampire as he rised his hands. Though as she was about to strike another, letting the two leave for the upper balcony, two vampires, were struck down by stakes, then another was hit by a beam of light. Jane's look of surprise, was quickly turned into a scowl. Though, she was going to complain, instead she turned and ran up the stairs, two at a time just coming up behind the other two.

Jane listened to the introductions as she put away her mother's sword, and kept her's handy. Though spell for her flaming sword was gone, she could mentally still feel its heat. Moving around the group, of gathered people, she picked up a vase took a quick look, and let it drop to the floor. Then she grabed the table covering, and started to wipe her face off, and inspect the new scrach from the were-wolf had given her.

There was one question that came to her mind as she wiped off her make-up off. "Excuse me, but why are the vampires not attacking us up here? We are just standing here, in a vampire's home, and there are several hungry ones down there. Let us finish this little group off, and move on." She moved to get a little closer to the group, and see what was the plan. A hunger, that kept her moving to the west, would never die, till she was dead, or her enemies were.

    ----------

Lann stood there listening intently to the few introductions and Josh's words. Seeing as he had already introduced himself to Josh and Peter, he didn't feel the need to make introductions again at this point. He figured that he'd make individual introductions to the rest of the slayers later, after he had heard Josh out. Just then, he was brought out of his revelry by a loud crash. He looked over, and saw one of the slayers who had arrived last, and who had complained profusely about some betrayal. After she had used the table cloth to wipe her face she addressed the group without making an introduction. "Excuse me, but why are the vampires not attacking us up here? We are just standing here, in a vampire's home, and there are several hungry ones down there. Let us finish this little group off, and move on."

Lann thought that in her zeal to kill the vampires, and to follow whatever other mood came upon her whilst in that zeal, her judgments and perceptions were clouded. She obviously didn't realize that they had come into a room beyond the balcony and were closed in, the doors being locked by none other than Josh Havoc himself by means of magic, they weren't soon to open by normal methods, that was for sure. As the lady, still not introduced, walked over towards the group, Lann looked her in the eyes, and inclined his head toward the locked door they had all come into the room from, and said. "Your arm swings and your sword follows. You need practice."

Peter was intently gazing at Josh, when the stranger?s vase-breaking and comment interrupted that.

Excuse me, but why are the vampires not attacking us up here? We are just standing here, in a vampire's home, and there are several hungry ones down there. Let us finish this little group off, and move on.

As Lann finished his statement, Peter spoke up. ?We are safe in here. The locks should hold, and even if they don?t, this is a room full of accomplished slayers. We can hold our own long enough to get out of here. As to why we don?t move on, there is something you should understand. There are more important things in this world than slaying vampires. It does not matter how many we kill, while the leaders are still alive? and they are not killed so easily. We need a plan, and we need one fast. In addition, if my thoughts are correct Josh here,? He gestured to Josh, ?Is about to tell us of a way to defeat every single vampire in one swift, easy blow. Ultimate and total victory. Please, hear him out. If not, then I am sure he will gladly let you go downstairs and have your fill.? His voice remained calm, and almost quiet during this, but there was in intensity in his voice that could not be matched. He waited for either Josh to go on or others to respond to him.

"Your arm swings and your sword follows. You need practice." She looked at the man and scoffed. "I do not normally use a blade, unless I call for it." Shrugging, "Hopfully very little. So excuse me for defending myself, while the "special" group stands and watches. Then another man spoke to her, and she turned to look at him.

?We are safe in here. The locks should hold, and even if they don?t, this is a room full of accomplished slayers. We can hold our own long enough to get out of here. "Well, that is good for us sir, but I am going to be bold on this, but would it not be a good idea to be out of here, before we discuss our situation and plans of action." Looking around her, at the room, "This room could be bugged, beyond our abilities here in this house...Unless we take it back and clean the rats out. Then I would feel much better about this."

Then she moved more to the middle of the room, and stared at the most scared person here. "If you are the one who called us all, then you would agree that being in a strong vampire's strong hold is not a wise idea of making plans in." She was actually pretty nervous. The vampires downstairs, knew they were here, and she never did like staying in one spot longer than thirty minutes after a clean, and this place was not clean. Over all, she liked this group of slayers, and had a good feeling, but it was over casted of being in one spot, and in a strong hold.

Peter looked at the young lady, and smiled. "If my assumptions are correct, there is a very good reason for holding this meeting here. I am sure Josh will gladly cover it." He gestured again to Josh. "Please, would you care to enlighten the group as to why we are here?" As he had said, he had a fairly good idea of what it was Josh thought so valuable. He himself had come to this house tonight to find a book in Dracule's study that proved his words. With not another word, Peter looked to Josh and awaited what he had to say.
