Make sure you include all the "bits" and a mockup of how it would look on at least a 1024x768 screen.

Btw I was kidding about using DOA pics for the new banner. I've raised the issue about the content of the banner if Games is moved to Community but so far it looks like the graphics will still be SW related games.

Nice final choice. I like the haze.

One minor gripe: maybe try and fade the bottom of Vader into the area below him more. His solid color just cuts off.

Otherwise, I like.

 

It's time for the Winter face-lift.

Like last time we're opening the contest up to anyone and everyone to submit their designs for banner and side graphics for both the forum here, and possibly for TFN Games if they wish to use it.

Once we've gotten submissions, we'll consider them all and choose one to go up on both. We'll tak entries up until the end of the November, for uploading durind Dec, Jan, Feb.

For the Main Banner Image (foreground), what we'll require is 3 copies. One that just has the images, a second that has the label TheForce.Net Jedi Council Games and a third with TheForce.Net Games. It's totally up to you how you wish for these labels to be presented.

There is no limit on how many you can submit, and there are no limitations on the image content (keeping it all family friendly and within TFN policies of course). But since it's for the Games pages, obviously we would love to see ones full of Star Wars Games imagery.

So, get cracking and let's see what you can all do. :)

You can post your submissions in this thread, PM them to me or contact me via PM if you wish to email them in. The best way to present your idea is to take a JC Screenshot and paste your banner into the image to make a page mockup, like [link=http://members.cox.net/screenies/dangames.jpg]Dan has done here[/link].

The winner will get VIPship (red colours), a title, and access to the "Winner Is Me" icon (if they wish to use it) for the 3 months that the banner is up.
