We (JawaGirl and astrozombie) were just at Superstore on the Westend (170 street) and found a bin of clearance books. There is a pile of Star Wars ones!!! I will list the ones I saw below:

Cool shtuff! Now all I need to know is where to get my hands on the Interactive R2-D2! I guess Toys r' Us decided not to carry it in Canada and I haven't seen it all Wal Mart yet

 

I actually held an Interactive Artoo at a local TRU tonight!!

They are available.

They are also $179.99!!!!

I'll get mine as soon as I can afford it.

 

What?! How many did they have?! (I'd imagine it would be selling out pretty fast.) Geez, people need to get their **** straight. The employee I asked even looked on his computer and told me that they wouldn't be stocking it. He probably just hit a few keys then made it up.

 

TRU really has problems with stock. There's a bunch of other prop builders I know who have had similar problems with them as well as myself. I hope the R2's aren't $179 here.

 

The R2 Units have arrived to Edmonton. I saw them tonight at ToysRUs on the Southside...drool...and they are indeed $179.99.

 

I can confirm that, the Toys R Us on the westend here had one today when I went to look at lightsabers (they all suck), and it is indeed $179.99
