Morning everyone I havent visited here much lately, so I thought I would stop by. It all seems to be going well here.

Thought I'd better pop over to see what's happening in the land of maple syrup

So have things started thawing out yet?

 

Whoa I go away for a weekend and everyone from Australia pulls in to the Inn! Hiya Kooky, Evil, SP and D_M!

I can happily say that spring has sprung though we did have an unexpected little snowfall last night but all the snow has melted away again! The buds are about to bloom and the animals are out from hybernation I love this time of year...the promise of nice weather and warmth! The last few days the temp has climbed as high as 20 and that's warm for this time of year. But we've crossed the 0 mark again hence the snow last night. In a couple of weeks people here will be complaining that it's too hot and humid! I say enjoy it while you can!!!

*Walks over to the bar and orders a pepsi and some frog cakes*

What's new in the land of OZ?

*Glances up at the ceiling to see Kooky struggle to get down*

 

Well the footy season has started again

 

The what??? (Sorry, now I feel really lost. Must be something linked with the fact that I'm still kind of a newbie...)

*walks to the bar and grab some Skittles, then come back, sit at the table and make labyrinth drawings with them*

 

The Footy, Sonya, the Footy

Not that I'm a huge fan as such, but I've got money in a tipping competition, so it pays to stay interested.

 

Ahhhhh the footy ... *contemplates going to umpire training* ... nice to have it back.

*goes to the bar, grabs a pepsi and a footy pie*

I'll start training tomorrow ...

 

SKITTLES!!!!! *Struggles harder to get down*

 

watches Kooky try and get down from ceiling wearing her stormie helmet

Can you see anything out of there!!!!


grabs a cold Beer and goes sit down by the window

 

NO !!! could some one please throw me up some skittles !! Like so they go inside my helmet, that way when i take off my helmet i will have skittle to eat ??

 

* Destroy the labyrinth drawings, and slowly, one by one, throw skittles up in the air toward the ceiling...*

Oh. Ok. Footy Silly me. No thanks, anyway. I like gymnastics better!

 

*attempts to catch skitilles, but cant see a thing with this helmet on*

 

*Places a dish of skittles on the table*

It's ok Kooky, I've got a bowl of them here for when you figure out how to get down

 

She cant work that out...

Even WITH the assistance of gravity....

 

Oh well...I thought eventually she'd figure it out. Why let a perfectly good bowl of skittles go to waste?!?

*Starts eating the skittles in the bowl while still watching Kooky attempt to free herself of the ceiling*

 

Sure you will!

*...and began to kidnap skittles from the bowl and draw Easter bunnies patterns with them on the table...*

 

*mutters* *grabs evil as he walks by to grab a beer*
*as evil contiues to walk, unaffected by Kooky grabbing him, He pulls her of the ceiling*

*kooky lets go of evil and smashes into the floor*

Ouch. . . *limps to the table and takes the bowl of skitles and eats them*

 

Generally, I dont allow people to grab me...

It was a needy case, so I wont pursue it further.



Looks at Kooky's limp form lying on the floor....

Thats gonna leave a mark..

...?...and what is a smoothie, actually? Sorry, I read that in a book but never had one myself , and I'm puzzled.

 

Lando was an old smoothie....

 

Somehow I don't think that's quite what she meant Evil!
