Still haven't heard back from my contact with answers to my questions...

So my plan is to try to leave my house around 9:30am (mapquest says 1hr 25mins from my house to the event at T&K Hardware, 76 State Street, Auburn, NY 13021) get to the event around 11am and then hope that I can find someone there to show us where we're going to be changing.

Do folks want to meet up at Eastview Mall to car pool/caravan out to Auburn? Or just all take separate cars?

Either way is fine by me but Eastview sounds like a good meetup point.

 

As per usual, MadKid needs transportation. Who's got room, and the ability to snag me in the morn?

 

We'll probably need rides too, unless Tom buys a new vehicle today. <shrug>

 

Damn! Just found out that I'm working Saturday night. Anyone planning on an earlier return to Rochester? I'd need to be back by 9pm, at the latest.

 

I would think we'd be back by 9pm - even for those that stayed until the end. The event runs until 6pm, but I was figuring we'd start packing up at 5pm. There's supposed to be a catered dinner at 5pm (last I heard, but I haven't been able to get ahold of the contact recently to confirm this). So we'd either eat from 5pm-6pm or 6pm-7pm and then be home between 7pm-8pm.

I did buy a "new to me" vehicle today, but it's froma a private owner & I can't get it registered till Monday So Yes we do need a ride.

Carol maybe can we hop a ride there with you & then we should be able to stay longer so if we could squeeze in with some one else for a ride home????


Dean, maybe you can hitch a ride back with Carol so that you'll get back soomer as she's leaving early?

I'm afraid we won't be able to get you MadKid, hopefully someone can.

Also FYI for all - since our car will be full (didn't get a babysitter for Connor in time) and we'll be struggling to get there on time as it is (and since no one seemed interested in meeting up) - we're heading straight for Auburn.

If someone beats us there, just say you're with the Star Wars group and see if you can get someone to direct you to our booth and where we'll be changing. Our contact is Amy Dickson, but since she's also in charge of the whole event I'm not sure how easy it'll be to get ahold of her.

well it looks like Carol may not go after all I think the ol van can make it to eastview but definatley not to auburn can we hook up with someone there?

 

My Van is Empty on Gas, I can try to get it filled tommorrow Morning for a Meeting at Eastview and Shuttle out a couple people in Costumes.

So far, it'd be me and Akayeon (+armor) in the Van, so we have a total of 5 Seats Open. Weather or not we have to put other peoples costumes ETC in one or 2 seats is TBD.

Throw me a Tell here on the boards, reply here if your gonna want a seat, and we'll try the best we can to get everyone down there ^^ (or over there... where is Auburn anyway?)

I guess I shall be at eastview (near sears) by the citizens bank there, about 9:45. With plans to leave by 10am. I can take two add'l and have a free seat for their costumes etc.

Tom/Dar... if your van can get you out there then you are welcome to them.

I'm heading to bed as i'm totally wiped so i can hope to make it through the day tomorrow.

Sorry I couldnt make it this morning, when I was packing up my costume I got a call saying I was needed at work. I should be able to make some of the upcoming events, granted you guys dont mind my tagging along.
